SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

The progam cant start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer.Try reinstalling the progam to fix this problem.


I already reinstalled like 5 times and i i reformated my pc to and it keep saying the same !!!! why :(

Just download it, and put it in your System 32 Folder(C:\WINDOWS\system32) where all the other .dll files are located. Here's the link for it.

Also before you post asking why nothing works, runescape was updated today so we need to tweak some things before anything works again. So wait a few days.

Post may be a bit misleading. What YoHoJo means is that RS was updated so some things may not work (the update was mainly graphical, which directly affects us). He wasn't saying that you'll need to download MSVCR71.dll (or any other file, except for updated SRL/Simba files if necessary on updates, but this is done automatically and isn't really a hassle). :) I misread it so I figured a newcomer may, too.

And, in better news, most autoing should be working just fine quite soon. All that needs to be fixed/updated is OCR - which, hopefully, won't take long. Other than that, everything *should* work just fine.

But he does have to install the DLL to the System32 folder, right? I know that I got the error when I set mine up, nothing worked until I installed it and then it worked fine.

well actually its "C:/Windows/System" not System32

When I did mine, I put it in System 32 and it worked. I guess it doesn't matter which you put it in.
