Is there any way I can post data to a secure site from scar or simba? Or perhaps call on curl or something external that will post data to a site?

There's got to be a way to do it. Out of all the searched i've done, scar/simba is the only ones capeable of making looping if/than scripts based off data. I don't have time to learn cpp…

There's gotta be away to access secure sites via scar/simba.. a plugin perhaps?

One idea I had was to create an html page of my own that has some kind of script in it that would post data to the secure site, and then display that data in the HTML, which I can then single out the data I need with some functions after retrieving it with GetPage();?

Though, I don't know how to load an external page within an HTML file I have of my own. Any tips?

It is supported. Just install the OpenSSL libs. http://www.slproweb.com/download/Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_0_0e.exe and restart Simba, then it should work.

program new;
begin
writeln(getpage('https://www.google.com'));
end.

If your libs weren't installed correctly, it will simply writeln nothing. No errors.

Whatever method you plan to POST using Simba will work on https the same exact way as http would, as long as you have the libs.

I am using ubuntu

I downloaded and installed both with wine so I'll let you know how it goes.

Simba still will not access https pages, albiet it doesn't give me any errors, it just returns blank lines. Does the fact that I'm using ubuntu have anything to do with it?

I also tried it in my windows xp virtual machine, both simba and openssl installed yet it still returns blank lines on secure pages.

I know it worked when you placed the openssl library in the Simba folder. I'm unsure about system wide installs.

Well, the secure google page loads… but other secure sites wont.

For example, I am trying to post data to an API on a secured site but it's all returning blanks for each page I post to. Though, when I post/go to these pages in a browser, it will return saying no data was entered.

Here's the link I am testing with.

Make sure you're using the Windows binaries if you're using WINE. If it doesn't give errors, it's done incorrectly :)

Edit: maybe POST https is broken? Try POSTing to Google.

I am running this in a win xp virtual machine.

I'll try posting to google in a moment. But, I think with google, if a client tries to request a secure page, and it cant handle it, then it will automatically go to the non-secured page. The page I am using doesn't have an alternative like that.

If it really doesn't work you can file a bug.

Okay, I know this maybe a gravedig but it's not because it's on-topic. :P
I tried to install it different ways(OpenSSL), but how do I do it properly? I don't know what exactly to place in the simba folder.
Also may sites where login is necessary cause problems and if yes how can I overcome it?
