SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

Wow, coming here brings back some old memories. The release of S.M.A.R.T was revolutionary and uproars happened when it broke. I remember looking at my computer in awe as SCAR chopped down those trees all by itself. Haven't seen a few usernames a remember yet such as Fawaki, nieslie, (and a person who wrote the fight caver and got banned).

Btw what happened to SCAR?

SCAR was really buggy, and since Freddy took so long time to fix them up, some people here at SRL made Simba.

Hy71196 got banned yeah, but he later on got unbanned and is now known as Harry :)

Scar is still alive at freddy1990.com. SRL is moving to an open source alternative called Simba.
Simba is being developed by people here. (Mostly those with admin, mod or developer rank :p)

not really, he seems to like posting his updates on here, but i dont think anyone seems to take much notice to them

Ah right, that explains. How do you think this site will hold up with Jagex threatening law suits? I tried to learn how to script back in 07 but I was in my early teens (14-15). I'm considering starting again, just wondering if it's going to be worth my while.

EDIT: Is there any way I can capitalize the 'h' in my name, it's bugging me lol.

It should be fine. It wouldn't be wasted time in either case.

BTW I think my fight caver should still work if you tweak the colors of the cave? But that area is pretty bannable I think so don't really want to fix and release.

I think I'm going to leave botting for a bit until it all dies down and familiarise myself with the new client (if it's different, haven't checked it out yet)

But honestly if Freddy woulda just let SCAR go open source… See what closed source did it to him? It isolated him completely. I got his website every now and then… just feel sad for him… -rolls up a joint-

Welcome back bud, I've returned as well after a few years too, and yes… I remember Harry's drama days too. I think everyone does… There's that, and his amazing cave fighter which got so over-used. You've made quite the appearance here on SRL, Harry. :P
