Hello guys, I was thinking would it be possible to make a frost dragon killer?
Or is it way to hard to make? I know I am a new member, please don't flame on that xD. I was just curious if it would be possible to make when it must be based on colours.

It is probably possible to make, but because it is members only (runescape) and alot of scripters dont maybe have access to members content.

There's already a thread about this. Try not to created new threads that's already on SRL.

Possible, yes. But if it was hard to do while reflection was prime then imagine creating the script in color.

Whoever makes this script and releases it I will hunt you down and stab you to a bloody pulp.

To be honest if i would start scripting and became good it in anyway my first few scripts be simple, but as soon as i can write a decent/hard script i will go for that and drop the easy ones, just think like this if i ever learn to script like a pro you can expect one from me in 2 years.

I thought Jagex made frost dragons tougher so that it requires concentration even from legit players or they die, so I'd think making a bot for them could be kinda risky.

Well not a lot of people share this opinion but botting is a double edged sword.

1) It saves us time, makes runescape more fun!
2) It KILLS the economy, KILLS the multiplayer aspect of the game.

Now I do not care if someone uses a bot to train their skills, as 99% of the time they are doing it to level up the skill rather than make gold.

When making gold is brought into botting (Much like how it was with rsbuddy/rsbots/powerbot) The economy of the game dies and the game in general is brought into chaos…

We are humans we can never have "enough", if it works it will be exploited thus the reason I don't want something like "Frost Dragons" a great way to make money LEGIT to be taken over once again.

As of today everyone thinks bots are not an issue anymore, lets leave it that way and make scripts that help us help ourselves and not harm the community we all take part in (The rs community)

R4nd0m, I agree completely with what you said. But regardless of the fact that SRL has had some mass-bottable scripts in the past as well, SRL has never come even close to the level of destruction RSBuddy left behind. So I doubt this script would have the same effect as RSBuddy did on the economy. Naturally I could be wrong as well. But if this script were to be made, there's a high chance it would be members+ only anyways, so no worries.

In all honesty I like this members+ feature more than VIP or SPONSOR on other sites as it isn't a paid option but something you earn. Cough one day, I will be there :p

Well now's the time. Color is dominating the scene, so by all means start learning ASAP. You'll be surprised how fun it is to work with, honestly.

Few reasons why it will be a bitch to make:
1) Frost dragons are populated. Often. There's no way for a color script to accurately tell which dragons are being fought or not.
2) BoBs (Beast of Burdens). You need at least a war tortoise for frosties. A color script will not have the ability to quickly and efficiently withdraw stuff from your BoB and deposit bones into it.
3) Walking to frosties. It's a dungeon, and SPS doesn't support it (AFAIK).
4) Differences in setups from person to person (diff summ levels, diff stats, diff weps, diff methods of transport).

There are too many variables for such a script. But is it possible? Yes, if you have infinite (okay, so maybe 2 weeks - 6 months depending on coding involvement and # of ppl working in a team). But then you'd have to create multiple scripts (tele to draynor, explorer's ring tele, lumbridge walk). Not to mention that frosties are in an environment that is difficult to distinguish them in.

We could start off using only one way of transport, and maybe people could add more methods.

The key to making this script work is going to be to make it flee combat once the blue ball starts circling the dragon and then continuing once it's gone. I'm not sure if it's random or not though, you can almost predict it most of the time. If we can't do that though, theres gonna be ALOT of dead botters bc that's jagex fight back against botting them and it works damn well as they can kill you in a matter of seconds.
