I believe it automatically Remembers username/password.

You don't have to log in everytime.

If the pages are done in PHP, you can store cache on the client PC and using the optional parameter, it can be set to expire after a certain amount of time. Could use that?

You should be logged in at least for some time? I think closing the browser will log you out.

What about just a 'keep me logged in' that is forever (until cache/cookies is cleared) similar to the forums?
