Anybody else extremely disappointed with MW3? It is practically just a 60 dollar add on to mw2. i was thinking about buying it but after playing it for an hour on my brothers ps3, i am completely bored with it, i even tried survival mode.

anybody else feel the same way or disagree with me?

i mean i don't know, i thought i'd be ok with it. But seriously, i'm severly disappointed. I just want to get Skyrim or Arkham City.

runescape doesn't really compare with any FPS, not that one is necessarily better, but just in general, you can't really compare a mmorpg to an FPS, its more of a personal preference

that being said, i think it is a lot like an addon to mw2, but its a good addon to mw2, worth $60, debateable

BF3 is freaking awesome, never played MW3 but it seems like casual little kid shtuff.

Sigh… I'm being sarcastic.

No addon is worth 60 dollars. When I buy a new game I expect a new experience. I don't want something I already experienced. That's what MW3 is. New map, new weapons, same old game modes, slightly improved graphics, but the same game play. Contrary to that, Battlefield, gives you something new with every release. My opinion, debate if ya want. I actually liked black-ops because it gave you that new feeling.

I like MW3 more than MW2, but you're right, they're basically the same thing. The thing that really pisses me off is that you can't play 4 player Spec. Ops, Survival, Campaign, or online MP. I'm not sure about other FPS games, but that's one of the main reasons I think like Halo more than COD.

I like MW3 because I liked MW2. I was hoping it would be a lot like it and it is, so I'm really happy. I don't know what you guys expect them to change. You get a new campaign, spec ops, new multiplayer maps and some new game modes but the gameplay overall can't be significantly changed. If you want something new and different from COD, try battlefield. Also, if they would have gone and made drastic changes, people would be complaining even more ;)

BF3 hands down.

It's an alright game, survival is actually pretty sick I think.

Something like a week after battlefield 3 came out, more people were still playing black ops AND mw2. The games have a different style of play, so you can't really compare them.

Call of Duty 4 was the best COD ever made. Every single release after COD4 has been worse and is getting worse.

agreed, in almost all cases, simpler is better. Plus the call of duty elite service, PAYING for extra little shit like guns and whatnot, are you serious? that is ridiculous.

I don't mind it, i just wish they were as good at making maps for mw3 as for mw2. mw2 had many more maps that were actually good. And many maps that were actually good for sniping.

I just dont like bf3 because there is too large an emphasis on vehicles(they op), people camp about 3 times more than they do on mw, and if you spawn in a bad place, you can be stuck running for like 10 minutes without seeing anyone (even on your own team). Not necessarily a bad game, but not my cup of tea.

Mw3 is fine for me, since I loved mw2. My issue is that the maps suck. There's too many useless objects blocking your view. You can't really climb onto anything. Resistance and Bakaraa are examples of maps with useless crap in the way. There's no need for a truck and 3 cars to be in your way. There's no need for the helicopter in the middle of Bakaraa or the truck near the double stairs. These are just examples of unnecessary things.

yea they make the maps too complicated and it makes it too easy to die if you look in a single direction for more than 5 seconds.

Meh i actually liked MW3 Well the survival mode anyway is fun. I cant say much about the multiplayer though.

So here is the deal. My cousin came from london and he brought his XBox + MW3. Start playing, etc, etc.
I think it doesn't change much from the previous version. Not much of interest :/
Yesterday , I started playing BF3. I can say that there's nothing to do with MW3. It's much better, has more stuff. That was my first impression when I first played BF3. Who has this game, should say/think the same thing.

BF3 > MW3 anyday. Way more features, much higher quality environments, people don't camp for the majority, way better guns.

The only problem I have with BF3 compared to MW3 is the time it takes to find a match, and the way you're searching for matches… I mean… through a web-browser…? Really?

BF3>MW3 Havent even played BF3 that much and it beats MW3 However Iv Played Cod for so long its hard to get used to plus i moved from xbox to pss :D so even more fun
