I am a high school student who decided to start botting in RS because if you cant beat them then join them. He chose SRL because it was free and a community rather than a website that wants to make money of of me.
In my free time I'm always on the internet. Don't watch TV anymore. Usually i play RS or some other games on the PC. I go on Villavu daily. I have tried applying for member status once before. Please accept me as i want to release 2 scripts to members.

Edit2: Since posting this application I have learned how to use SPS.
My Newest script, a Coal guild miner (uses SPS)

@Tniffoc- The Coal miner sort of uses "custom-built object finding functions"
Except that I didn't write the funtion. PatDuffy did, i just edited it because I understand it and it works very well and accurately. The Coal miner is my current project. So far it seems to mine a full invy of coal and successfully walk to the bank and deposit, but it doesn't walk back to the mine.

Citadel miner is simple but it works.

Teak Tree chopper will be updated to use SPS now that i know how to use it.
Also thanks to SPS i can finally add the Mahogany tree without a problem when i become a mem.

Mith miner works as far as i know but its slow xp because you have to wait for the mith to spawn so i decided to make the coal miner.

Yes that was one of my first scripts. I know coordinate clicking is bannable but due to the nature of the script i think it should be ok. The script just buys chocolate and other food which takes only like 10min a day (and makes about 50k profit a day) so i didn't think it would be useful to use bitmaps for a script that will be ran for 10 min a day.

Coal Miner (uses SPS):

(mediafire bc i uploaded the max 5 files allowed.

Please show us one (or multiple) of your scripts.

Well, since this section is members only, you can post those scripts in your app.

Decent scripts especially the teak chopper; however, due to the lack of documentation I am voting no. Use comments in your code!!!

What do you mean by use comments?

WriteLn('Hi!'); // this writeln's hi
The part after // would be a comment. They are useful for some stuff.

PS: I suggest uploading your scripts here, no one wants to read a thread and download attachments to view :)

I have seen plenty of uncommented scripts that work VERY well. It's true that they won't be able to be read by other scripters, but, for purposes of SRL, I can see not commenting.
  • You seem to know your way around a fair amount of SRL functions.
  • I see enormous potential in your scripts.
  • Your indenting is a little bit off, alot of the time.
  • I don't see any custom-built object finding functions.
For now, I'm holding my vote, especially since I'm pretty inactive.

EDIT: Don't know if you're aware, but coordinate clicking is EXTREMELY bannable. I know this was probably one of your first scripts, but I just thought I'd throw it out there. This is also a prime example of some mediocre indenting standards.

function BuyChocolate: Boolean;
var
x, y : Integer;
begin
Wait (5000 + Random(411))
Mouse(367, 124, 10, 24, true);
Wait (5900 + Random(411))
Mouse(148, 121, 14, 24, true);
end;

Coordinate clicking is fine in certain situations, in my opinion. Technically, everything we do is coordinate clicking. ;) That being said, I don't know exactly what he's using it for in this situation.

A mousebox would fit better there (I think it is uses to right-click on the chocolate bar then select buy), but in this case, due to the high randomness, it isn't wrong but just not the way you are supposed to do it.

I guess I could see the merits of coordinate clicking sometimes, but I think a little randomness is needed not to be bannable. Clicking the same pixel repeatedly is certainly detectable. Whether or not Jagex decides to exploit this is certainly up in the air, but I'd personally rather be safe than sorry.

Eh, not really impressed with the Coord Clicking, try something a bit complicated and a tad fancier, looked through most your scripts, seems like your headed right path, but quite short to make the requirements in my mind.
Sorry No.

I agree completely, but he's using plenty of randomness.

Something complicated and fancy doesn't mean it's better. ;) I've often found the simplest concepts prove to be the most reliable.

Yes from me. :)

I think I voted yes, I don't remember exactly. The scripts might not be using the full include (the more the better I think) he's still persistent to make new scripts. He's definitely not one of the people looking to use other's scripts make make his own and hand them out to others. He wants to learn, that's obvious.

I just wish he was more active. ;)
