SRL Archive - RS3 Script Requests

Is anyone able to write a very simple script for TabMaking.

The things it needs to do is:
- Right-click the butler for more supplies. Just that. Doesn't need to enter the amount as I will have it done the first load.
- Click on the lectern and click "Make all"
- Wait for it to finish and repeat

I will have the butler near me when I run the script and I will look back 6 hrs later to re-setup.

so i just wanted to add info to ur original post so people who are going to make the script have a little bit of an idea about it

1.make it in building mode so you don't get random events!! very important!!
2. failsafes meaning if it goes away from the lectern find a way to return back to the lectern

I would like a few more specifics actually. I realize you could have the amount set before running, but that doesn't mean other people would, and if I (or any other scripter I'm assuming) take the time to write this, I would do so properly so I could share it with the rest of the community.

I'm going to look into this, I have some time this week. I'm not really familiar with tab making, so I guess I need to do some reading!

a great friend of mine made a script "private script"
it has lots of bugs and he is still working on it

Only reason I specified that is because I wanted to make it as easy as possible to write for the scripters. You can make it complex if you like.

Going and making the tablets in-game will give you a good idea of what you need to write for it to do. You need 50 construction (to construct the room) and at least 25 Magic (to make the tablet) to do so though. It's actually really simple. All it needs to do is have the butler near the character, have lots of Fire and Law runes in inventory with rest Soft Clays. All you need to wield is an Air Staff. All it does is, clicks on the Lectern, left clicks "Make All" and waits while every Soft Clay is made into Tablets. Then, it has the butler go get more Soft Clay and repeat. Butler can only bring 20 Soft Clays every trip though. I gave a lot of unnecessary information, I know. I just want to explain exactly what it does. Sorry if I annoyed you.

no you didn't at all

but i will tell you what problems came making the script
sometimes it's laggy and clicks somewhere else so it can't return to the lectern

sometimes it open tablet box even u are already making tablets

so it's a little bit more complicated than you expect:S
i was just like u saying ti takes less than 500 lines to make unfortunately it's not easy :S

so i hope someone makes a good tablet making script

Bambino, I thought it was simple considering the little amount of procedures it has. When the tablet clicks on the lectern while already making tablets, I heard it comes from lagg. Is lagg caused by the script or the computer itself? I think it's the computer… anyways, sorry if I offended you in any way. I'm not good with JAVA, just getting into it as of lately.

i have zero clue about scirpting also like i said a friend of mine made script for me:)
and lagged is caused by runescape :S

I won't know until I can actually look into the needed material first, and I have a decent night's sleep. Expect more information Sunday.

EDIT: @Bambino, random events are solvable though? Good idea still!

I remember when reflection was around, I would bot in Building Mode and there would be no worries about random events. Only when the 6 hrs mark was up, an event popped up. Also, I heard that Simba's random event solver isn't too great so this should fix that problem as well.

This means there can't be any breaks in the script, right? Since if you logout the butler will disappear. That's a problem of some degree.

No, there will be no breaks. Besides, there is no one there to report you and if you happen to be banned otherwise, then that's suck and shit happens.

It is practically suicide-botting so no breaks or anything. All it will do is make tabs and ask butler to get Soft Clays, that's it. This way, the butler disappearing isn't a problem. That why I said, I will get back every 6 hrs as that's when the account will auto-log.

I'm working on getting my account up to the proper levels of construction so I can actually attempt to do this haha. So yes I plan to do it. I'm not on my normal computer this week, so it could take longer to develop. As soon as I get the proper construction level I can give you a better ETA. :)

Will do. Once I get up to that point I'll probably post the first few revisions in this thread, until it's somewhat stable, and then I'll move it to a new one in the actual scripts section.
