SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

Hey, I have been doing some searching online to see if there has been any new bots developed or anyone has gotten an older one to work, and all I came up with was a few people claiming that rsbot has been made into Recbot, I downloaded and messed around with the client but I couldnt seem to get it to do anything other than load rs (did all of this on my old desktop that I boot from an optical disk everytime lol so it might have been that computer).

I just want to know if anyone else has heard of this?

Where did you hear about and download Recbot?

We here are all SRL/Simba and we have a good handful and increasing number of working scripts here for you.

I've never heard of Recbot but I know that there have been too many bots that just steal your account info. Does Recbot even have a site? I would recommend changing your passwords just to be safe.

Like i said I ran this on a computer that i run things on that I suspect might have a virus. Couldnt find a website, and I actually downloaded the client from a svn repository i sorta stumbled upon, while search i seemed to find that this bot also has a decent following on youtube. I agree that simba is a great bot, and the growing community will mean more scripts in the near future, but having some competition in the botting world is always interesting as well as it may encourage jagex to try and disable their new found botting method and let colour scrapers keep sliding.

Recbot was just a fork of RSBot. It does not work after the reflection killing update and I doubt it will anytime soon. In either case you should change your passwords.

Recbot was a fork of rsbot made by recoders.org to load there cracked scripts. The site is now dead, and recbot is not maintained.

if it what i think it is RecBot was a bot created by a site called Rscoders.net/Recoders.net which work in cracking and hacking :/ Rscoders is Runescape related and Recoders is everything not related to rs run by same person i forgot his name :(

I have done some more searching around, and apparently pplsuqbalz is involved with that bot? If that is true that it is would be a serious bot, and with pplsuq as a dev would probably be almost as serious as aryan was.

I used to crack iDung n a lot of scripts on that site.. his name was contra.. the guy that hacks a lot of websites and defaces them and the creator of groovr. Recbot is useless right now.. it was a fork of rsbot with increased security. It was only created after rsbot got messed with by paris and arbiter or whatever..

yeh Contra i remember him, used the Idung be4 it got uploaded to Rsbuddy :( anyways i think his site is gone forever or sumthing :/ tbh only Simba works to my standards atm lol i can bot 3/4hrs without ban ^^ also Rid is gud i guess :p Contra is amazing at hacking tbh lol ^^ i wonder what happened to him…

you also did tuts that helped me crack it haha xD

This place has been my home for anything bot related and before that was rscheata I find it quite hard to trust all these bot sites like powerbot and glad I did since mass accounts where wiped clean I say stay here and relax

REC bot was a copy of rsbot to run premium cracked scripts :)

RECbot was a project a cracking site was working on to attract members.

The site had few members, so they started cracking Nexus clients and releasing them for free, and giving free auths.

RECbot was a botting client that they had made themselves, in a matter of about 1 week. Recoders.org and Rscoders.org were run by the same 3 or so people. Recoders was for cracked applications from Avast to GameBooster. (All these were cracked applications and some requests). Rscoders was a runescape cracking forum. They discussed things such as botting, proggies, and gave out free auth codes and nexus clients. They also constantly cracked the dungeoneering bot by Kiko. They usually cracked it within the hour.

I know this because I use to browse the site everyday ;)


Edit; Also, the chance this bot actually works is nothing. It's outdated by probably 6 months or so.
