Remember the old .jagex_cache_32 in the System folder? Well, it gone. I found all my runescape prefs back in Documents and Settings/Administrator/
- a folder called jagexcache with folders, cache and .dll's.
- the random.dat
- and a jagex_cl_runescape_LIVE.dat
Everybody else has that too? Has this been discussed before?

Has not been before.
Mine's in
C:\Users\[Username]
I have 3 :D
jagexcache1, jagexcache2, and jagexcache3>Runescape>LIVE> DLLs, Dat, and Index Files (?wat?)
Maybe our friends at mopar can shed some light.

The only one I've been interested with (this has been like this for awhile, and the placement probably has to do with how/where Java is installed or something) is the jagex_cl_runescape_LIVE.dat file. I'd assume cl is for client, and live is for live. Just don't know what sort of information would be in there.
(And by live I mean I assume it's a file that they read/write from/to for some reason or another. Maybe that's what the frame issues and loading problems are about.. Poor I/O for security (opening/closing when reading/writing every time so that it can't be intercepted as easily? Dunno). Speculation.)

It's been like that since the bot buster update. Client prefs have been in your users folder for … over a year now I think. :)

I took a peek at it, it contains mostly Kanji symbols. There may be a connection to it and Chinese gold farmers?
