Wow noone has posted a single thread about this game, but yet we have one on e on MW3 -__-

So yea thoughts, comments? Anyone else still jizzing in there pants?

I'm still blown away on how vast this game is and so much to do like in Morrowind. The epic fact that I can basically be any class I want is breath taking.

Everyone is too busy playing to make a thread. I've been neglecting the main quest, been doing side quests for people in Whiterun. :3

Same Putnam! This is actually right in front of Whiterun to the right of where you first fight the dragon!

And there is already a couple of skin mods and even nude mods out already i just dont want them :P

i agree, the dragons are soo beautiful and i was like O_O and instantly in love

but i played it on my friends pc and it is soo much better than the xbox version, i wanna cry because my pc isnt powerful enough to play it

Never really understood why people play single player RPs. The whole point of leveling and grinding for me is that you can show it to other people and talk about stuff.

Bethesda wants your baby to be named Dovahkiin if it's born on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's launch date of November 11, 2011. The company is offering up an unspecified prize pack for those who take up the challenge. We frankly thought it was a joke until an update today to the company blog specified one of the prizes up for grabs: A Steam key granting free access to "every ZeniMax/Bethesda game - past, present and future - for life."


Note to the sort of parents who would name their kid Dovahkiin for free Bethesda games: If we were making a list of the times when it would be the least prudent for you to have a baby, the day the new Elder Scrolls game comes out would be like, right near the top. Just right up there.

So this thread makes it multiplayer? I mean multiplayer as in more than 10 people to share your thoughts with. But that's just what I prefer, there's no need to get fuzzy about it.

In this thread you can do exactly that.

I have it on xbox, because my pc sucks and it's just not worth playing such an awesome game on. Anyways, I'm a viking/alchemist.

I <3 Bethesda Softworks, but they lost so much of that by REQUIRING their game to use steam.

Ingame, I'm a Breton. I usually play as a Breton or Wood-Elf. Both make strong mages. Aser and I are playing through first time with NO quick-travel and Expert Difficulty, just to make it interesting and a bit more of a challenge (also you find way more places).

I kinda like Skyrim. Looks a promising game! Although, already asked for 2 games (ps3) and My pc doesn't run a game smoothly -.-

I don't like Skyrim. Certainly makes studying harder. Much harder.

Skyrim is how I'm passing my week off of work :) Got the collectors edition thing with the dragon. It's huge! lol.

You can buy the mask again at the same vendor that you sold it to

I dropped the Wooden mask, so you're not the only one making mistakes…
Luckily I dropped it in the middle of a city, and not on the bottom of a sea or deep inside the woods so I found it again :)

Ahh, okay, now I just have to remember. Oh, god, I hope not the one that attacked me and then … died. It was kind of a buggy moment. Like no bounty was given, nobody around was giving a single fu**, no introduction, I just arrived to the town from a mission. I can't imagine(nor my other rpg(elder scrolls) lover friends why that happened.
Anyway, yeah, good game. Good luck for me at tomorrow's exam tho.

I'm pretty sure someone is in the making of a multiplayer mod for it, like Oblivion had :)

got through the main storyline, time to spend endless hours roaming around doing sideplots, Think I'll start with the theives guild! :)

it really is good, I wish it was at least like baldurs gate multi player so AT LEAST one other person could join in adventure =[

I am in a happy lesbian-werewolf marriage with the one who gave me her blood to turn me.
Also, I came to a conclusion that the companion house is full of buggs. That random attack that noone sees around happened again. Dead body remains there forever and it's as light as a plate, I can throw it around and do funny stuff with.

Not only that, but a randomly [spoiler]skjor's body appeared in his bed[/spoiler] … and the smither disappeared the second time already.(I used console to bring him back.) Oh, and no, he was not sleeping or was elsewhere. He disappeared, I made sure of that. (weeks passed, searched everywhere, etc)

I got 2 days to finish my assignment/homework(the one for the half-year), guess who is wining the civil war and searching for the elder scrolls …

yea it's computer, a game with these types of graphics wouldn't disgrace themselves by only releasing console ports lol

Thieves guild was great first one I finished, tbh its better than dark brotherhood this time around.

Companions seems interesting I am excited to turn into a werewolf.. vampire was fun and all but gets really annoying when you go berserk and want to smash

I agree that the thieves guild story is great and the armor you get is awesome looking. But the tone of the dark brotherhood's story and the female leader is absolutely amazing; she is easily my favorite NPC in the game.

How is it bugged? I haven't delt with that many issues.

Yeah, bugs EVERYWHERE. Dragons flying backwards…? Really?

Is it one of my mods or do you get freezes after patch?
Never happened to me before and I didn't install any new mods after patch.
I tried to play it today, but I was like, meh.
I would reinstall it with only the first patch but I am lazy.

We should have a mods thread and discuss our favorites

Right now my favorites are
Bears mod (replaces spiders) hanging bears are hilarious..
T-Rex mod (Replaces dragons) flying t-rexes are more fun :P
