Is it just me or is RuneScape updating once or twice a day? Is this a permanent fixture? It would be really annoying as it seems to update at ~3 am/sometime when I'm at school for me.

Updates every ~6 hours now, 4 times a day.
There are a few threads talking about it, search 'runescape update' with the forum search function.

But it's to get hackers rather than macroers tho.

I think hackers wouldn't stay logged for more than 6 hours straight in someones account. He (hacker) would do everything he could (transfer health and auto-ban) less than 6 hours tbh…
