[FIX] SMART Restart After 6 Hours of RuneScape

Harry

2011-11-14 18:42:55

This method is OUTDATED. Respawning Simba is now built into SRL. Left up for archive purposes.

Info:
  • This modhack abuses a featurebug, that if the JRE of SMART crashes, then Simba will also crash. Using this information, we are about to automate the restarting of Simba, via a .bat script.
  • This is a very hacky fix! If you're educated enough about Java/the client, please come up with better ideas!

Advantages:
  • You will now be able to run scripts for more than 6 hours!
  • No memory leaking/building up! Main reason to use this.

Disadvantages:
  • Your progress reports get killed every ~6 hours.
  • Your player positions (such as them being True/False) also get killed due to this. For example, if your character is in a random event it doesn't detect, if your script doesn't have failsafes, it might get loopy in there. Highly suggested that you ONLY use this on multiplayer scripts, for this reasoning!
  • It's very hacky, and it will create hs_err_pid log files in your Simba directory.
  • Did I mention it's very hacky?

Prerequisites:
  • You must be educated about computers / using bat files.
  • You must not be lazy, and spend time trying for at least 10 minutes before asking. If you can't get this running from all the detailed info that is given here, I will not be able to assist you!

How to install and use:
  1. Exit Simba.
  2. Use the modified libsmart.dll: extract it to plugins folder, and overwrite the old plugin.
  3. Use the modified Login.scar: copy and replace that with the login.scar in your Simba\Includes\SRL\SRL\core\ folder. - no longer needed, thanks Cohen!
  4. The hardest part: making a .bat to automate the restarting of Simba.
  5. A) Your .bat will need to consist of numerous repeated lines: Simba.exe -o YOURSCRIPT.simba -r B) Repeat this line over and over in the .bat file, and save it in the C:\Simba\ folder (or wherever Simba.exe lays). C) Attached is an example, using the MSI script.
  6. Make sure your script doesn't have any "blockers" in it, such as a form. Disable the form in MSI if you're using it.
  7. Find "SetupSRL" in your script - add after it on a new line: SRL_Procs[srl_OnRSUpdate] := @CrashSMART;
  8. Add the procedure to your script (anywhere before SetupSRL in a new procedure will work):

  9. procedure CrashSMART;
    begin
    Writeln('You are using CRASHSMART, so we are going to reload your client after the RS update!');
    SmartgetFieldObject(1488,'crash'); // will crash SMART (and Simba).
    // IF THIS DOES NOT CRASH YOUR SIMBA, YOU ARE NOT USING THE PROPER PLUGIN
    // AN ACCESS VIOLATION HERE IS NOT THE CRASH; MAKE SURE YOU MOVED THE EDITED PLUGIN
    Wait(5000);
    WriteLn('CRASHSMART Failed: Make sure you are using the proper plugin!');
    WriteLn('Read more about this feature at villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67864');
    TerminateScript;
    end;
  10. Run your spiffy newly-made .bat file, and you should be all good to go!

How to tell if I am using the mod?:
  • Your S.M.A.R.T. should look like this (notice red underline I drew):
  • IF THIS DOES NOT APPEAR, YOU ARE NOT USING THE PLUGIN OR THE SRL_Procs[srl_OnRSUpdate] CORRECTLY, AND IT WILL NOT WORK!

Changed:
  1. Removal of internalDestructor in Main.cpp - removal of this causes SMART to instantly die upon JRE crash, instead of doing cleanup stuff.
  2. Modded SmartGetFieldObject to instantly crash the client, via it calling jre->DeleteLocalRef(0);. I am much too lazy/dumb to export a new procedure, so I just modified that one. No one's going to use that anyways considering reflection is broken ;)
  3. Modded smart/Client.java to say S.M.A.R.T. version 6.9c
  4. Login.simba edited to call the crash function instead of TerminateScript.
  5. Full .diff of SMARTmods, in case you want to modify the source yourself or don't want to use my binary: http://paste.villavu.com/show/1229/

Conclusion:
  • Thanks to Benland and some others for answering my idiot questions!
  • Without further to do, enjoy.

Old versions:
6.9c: 1796 downloads.

Great fix, but another disadvantage is the possible memory build up.

Harry

2011-11-14 20:05:55

No, there is no memory buildup at all with this. That's the whole point in killing Simba - it frees all the memory.

Ah! I thought it only killed SMART.

Very hacky…but I like it. We should just finish the libMML and then make it so that the smart memory can be freed(I think that's what we have to do, tell me if I'm wrong Wizzup).

Awsome :) although do you think SRL devs will make this default or somehow get script users to get more than 6 hours , without doing what you have told us to do? Such as a function that would do it for us?

I hope to have the modified login.scar added to SRL but I am not sure if that is going to happen. It won't interfere with anything unless they user $DEFINES it, so ..

Cool and all… as an alternate solution…

We know that if we Reload SMART we get a memory leak, but SMART loads RS, pretty much as it could load any other webpage if directed to do so? Im sure building a refresh module into SMART would not be awfully have and exporting a PS function so that we could call it from within a script should be entirely plausible..

According to a reputable source, Windows is terrible and does not allow you to unload the JVM without killing the main process (but it works fine on Linux). Benland already added a feature like what you're saying, however it does not work on Windows due to this reason. SMART would need to run in its own process and Simba would need to kill that.

I gave that as a possible way to do it, but I'm fairly certain I also said not to do it that way, its a hack that breaks features. Its better to just add a crashSMART() method.

Edit:
Never mind, that was for another method. Its still better just to add a crashSMART() method though.

Ouch. Really long batch file there. Just do:

@echo off
title Sample Simba Restarter

echo "==== Sample Simba Restarter. ===="
echo.
echo "Please make sure that this batch file is in the same directory as Simba.exe"
pause

STARTSIMBA:
Simba.exe -o Includes\MSI\RunMe.simba -r
echo "Simba died, restarting..."
GOTO STARTSIMBA

So if some one could help me…I did all of the above but when runescape updated, it said that crash smart was not defined or something along those lines…

When LoginPlayer says "Welcome to Runescape." in debug box, it should say "You are using the CRASHSMART loginfix!" instantly after it.

This doesnt happen…

You can disable the form. If you use the declareplayers it works great with it.

hamster, I'm unsure how the PC Script is setup, check with the script author.

Thanks, it was a little bit confusing but it worked out all by itself.
Just one question, and I would appreciate if you could PM it to me as I'm not sure I'll be able to find this thread again (newfag and embarrassed). You said it messes up the randoms sometimes with the True/False statements, and I was wondering if it would be more harmful to use this addition on a new account mining iron (lots of xp/hr = randoms), with the MSI powerminer then just running the normal SMART client?
Thanks again.

Harry

If you modify your script to terminatescript when all players are false, it shouldn't cause any harm.

Yes, however, when SMART is closed the memory is not freed. Basically, it will just continue to open new clients without ever terminating the old one.

Has anyone tried applying this to Ubuntu/Linux? Do .bat's work in Wine? I haven't tried, but I will tomorrow morning. I'll be sure to post my findings :)

Basically after closing SMART you must restart Simba in order to free memory.
If we just wanted to restart SMART then yes we could edit login.Simba but you can't write a Simba script to restart Simba, which is why there's a .bat and all the other fancy stuff.

might sound silly and stupid
but found a simple solution to the problem
why don't we make a scar script that clicks stop and play on simba client
we make it start working after 5 hours

most people don't use their computer at night so scar simply clicks on stop then click on start again

haloistaken

2011-11-18 15:56:27

Ok just to clarify, once I opened Simba thru my .bat file, I don't need to like worry about opening the .bat file again after 6 hours? Or its endless now? Because it was working for a good 6 hours Ibelieve but now its like fully stopped. It wouldn't log in. SO i'm guessing that it couldn't reload page :S

No, it doesn't work like that. It requires an entire client reload.

If you repeat the way Simba loads in that file, it will continue to run that through the night. If it doesn't, your login.simba or smart is installed incorrectly.

So let's say I ahve Simba hidden and then when 6 hours goes by, and it reloads will it open a new Simba window? so the hidden one will disappear and the new one will appear on desktop?

If its a Windows issue, there is likely nothing we can do. The JVM works pretty much one way, and there is no way to work around that.. within a process.

We would need to abstract into a Daemon-slave model.. which would take a lot of time.

So, after this new MSI Update

I'm getting in the Debug Box -

So is it functioning or is it not? Is my first question

My second question is:

Simba.exe -o YOURSCRIPT.simba -r is the thing we have to type or
Simba.exe -o RunMe.simba -r (If I want to use MSI?)

e.g If a file is named SlowFighter.simba (script)

Do I have to write Simba.exe -o SlowFighter.simba -r?

Just notifying you that in SRL-5, we have removed this hack and added srl_OnRSUpdate instead. I guess you could make it into a plugin or something, but as it is right now, it wont work with SRL-5

https://github.com/SRL/SRL-5/commit/9e0bd53b127755d7c50015dbb2aab2480460ce12

Harry

2011-12-04 00:26:39

It'll work fine, you just will have to add an SRL proc instead of a nice simple $define. The writeln in that is misleading anyways, restarting the script doesn't fix the problem, restarting Simba (or RS if not using SMART) does.

I reinstalled Simba and it worked I were pointing at the right Simba location though that I'm positive of. I kept the same .bat scripts, same locations and it worked.

Alright guys, you need to follow the instructions and use some damned common sense.

My script name is 'newpestcontroller', and it's in the folder C:\Simba\.

Therefore, the .bat file should look like this.

echo "Sample Simba Restarter."
cd C:\Simba\
Simba.exe -o newpestcontroller.simba -r
echo "Simba died.
Simba.exe -o newpestcontroller.simba -r
echo "Simba died.
Simba.exe -o newpestcontroller.simba -r
echo "Simba died."

It should be longer than that, but hey, that's an example.

I may be wrong, but the cd C:\Simba\ part makes it so you don't have to add anything extra in the area you have to put in your script location as long as it's in the same folder as Simba.exe

The example in the first post is a Simba file inside the Simba\Includes\MSI folder, so don't mimic it completely.

echo "Sample Simba Restarter.
cd C:\Simba\
Simba.exe -o YOURSCRIPTHERE -r
echo "Simba died."

Make sure the location of the script itself isn't on your desktop or something. It has to be inside where the Simba.exe is, otherwise it won't work.

However, if your script is in the "Scripts" folder in Simba, it should look like

echo "Sample Simba Restarter.
cd C:\Simba\
Simba.exe -o Scripts\YOURSCRIPTHERE -r
echo "Simba died."

Notice the "Scripts\" part infront of the script name.

As a complete damn scrub to scripting and this, this is currently working, and it's running smooth at the moment.

And if I'm wrong somewhere, please don't throw flaming spears at me. I'm only a bumbling beginner who (seems to have) followed directions.

Also, thank you, very, VERY much for this. Makes Botting so much easier.

In the script I use I pasted it after
Program SuperHeat;
{$i SRL/SRL/misc/smart.scar}
{$i SRL/SRL.scar}
{$DEFINE CRASHSMART}
Just like above and it works :-)

@ Harry (or any other knowing how this works): I got exactly the same as the screenshot on the mainpage (v6.9c Crash Update) and my batfile does restart simba when I manually click stop script in Simba (so I think everything is set up correctly). However, when I try running the script for longer than 6 hours, the script always comes up with a banking problem (or superheat problem because I use UltimateSuperheater from Tickky). This happened already three times around the 6 hour run so I'm wandering if this restart is still working for other people (and if this error is script-related and not SMART-related). When I return after such a run I see that the script has terminated and my batfile has not restarted simba. Please take a look at this and help me understanding the problem. Thanks in advance

I believe this is script related as the smelter needs to be started in the bank and i'm not sure if it can detect where you are at start. If this is the case maybe we can message the author and have him include it.

It was the UltimateSuperheater from Tickky I was using ;-) It runs perfectly but Tickky himself admits that banking is not 100% flawless. Although I think it cannot be coincidence that the script terminates three times around 6 hours of botting because of a bug. That makes me believe that it must be something SMART-related (that I wrongly applied the fix for example). Have I done everything correctly when the header of SMART says "v6.9c Crash Update"?

ok, everything looks like its working on the script and the simba log but it doesn't restart, it just goes "you are using the crash smart login fix" and when RS updates it says that and then goes "succesfully executed" and the script stops. No restart or anything.. so im back to the same problem

Thats what it says on the .BAT file CMD:

formWriteln: 'Runescape has been updated.'
formWriteln: Successfully executed.

This is what it says in the SIMBA LOG:

'Runescape has been updated.'
Successfully executed.

Then the script stops and nothing happens..

My .BAT file is

echo "Simba Script Restarter."
cd E:\Pogram Files\Simba\
Simba.exe -o PestControllerv9.simba -r
echo "Simba died."
Simba.exe -o PestControllerv9.simba -r

I have a fair number of scripts, is there an "easy" way around making bat files for all of em? Just for future reference.

why didn't I think of bat files in the first place for quick launching a bunch of scripts. :duh:

Thank you very very much!

i would say the easy way is just to put all of the scripts in the script folder and in the batch file just change the last word.

on mine i have the line as
Simba.exe -o Scripts\Fighter.simba -r

Fighter is the name of the fighting script. you could put
Simba.exe -o Scripts\Miner.simba -r

for a mining script on the second one

that way when smart crashes after 6 hours you could start the mining script with different accounts for a better antiban. and alternate it so you could have simba running 24/7

hope that answers your question.

EDIT: i think i got your question. Instead of rewriting bat or writing more than one and moving and pasting. rename the script that was included in your .bat ex: Fighter.simba. rename it to NarcleFastFighter.simba or etc. then take mining script and rename it as Fighter.simba, and you wouldnt have to change the .bat file

those are the only ways i can think of

Harry has already posted one for the MSI script on the first page named

got a couple u may have done these

put definesmart and define crshsmart into script
run the batch file not simba
recopy the .dll file

OwainJones

2011-12-27 01:37:08

I've done all of that. I put the define below the other defines, ran the batch files, and recently added the .dll file. I know the bat files work because that's what I launch from, and the defines must work because… well they're there. However I've also downloaded, extracted, and imported the libsmart.dll into the plugins folder. I really have no idea what else to do.

I also can't just highlight all my bots and launch them at once. I have to launch individually and make sure they're running first, otherwise smart has problems :( Becomes a lengthy process when I have to do it every 6 hours.

mine didnt work until i also put DEFINE SMART. * i thought i only had to do crashsmart*
i put them both in the top of my script

honestly why bother posting if you're going to spew useless shit? I've read the instructions, and I have it working, it's just not working consistently. I've got 30 bots running and only 2 were working 24 hours later. I know it works for a single account, but I don't understand why it's unreliable for multiple.

I'd appreciate if you, and everyone doing the same, would stop immediately assuming that everyone is a "rsbuddy leecher" and some 14 year old that's incapable of reading instructions. Pascal isn't exactly advanced, but I have more important things to do than to learn it and code my own bots.
30 clients running?! Are you serious? Piss off you goldfarming scumbag. Goldfarmers are why RS is such a terrible game, you goldfarmers ruin it. If you want to goldfarm, at least learn how to make your own stuff.

You are a leecher, even if you think you're not. Have you made a script or contributed to SRL?

There is nothing wrong with my setup, and it's irrelevant to this thread. If the scripts you've leeched to goldfarm with stop after a while, read the debug and report it to their thread. Please don't make another post in this thread unless it's directly related to the modified libsmart.

You could use taskkill build into Windows from another cmd window, matched with the timeout command. All of these build into cmd.

A better solution is to make it so the script you're using triggers the message by relogging when it gets logged out ;)

Restart computer after 6 hours.

My current batch file reads:

Which opens up Simba on its' default script, but not the RunMeEditForBatch.

I can get it to open RunMeEditForBatch by making my batch file say this:
@echo off
cd C:\Simba
C:\Users\Devin\Desktop\RunMeEditForBatch.simba -r

But that doesn't actually run the file. I have the Crash Update installed, I checked. I also have {$i DEFINE CRASHSMART} in the script. The RunMeEditForBatch is on my desktop. No. You have to disable the form in MSI, then specify which script in MSI to run to use CRASHSMART with MSI.

Got this Client token error today on two accounts, possible to make it restart also when that happens?

2012-01-12 21:31:49

Jagex have changed the screen from saying "runescape has been updated" to "client token failure" (as in Hakala's Pic above) which has broken crashSMART.

I've modified the Login.simba (attached) to call the same srl_OnRSUpdate proc as it does with the Updated screen.

I haven't tested yet, but hopefully should work (got 3 bots running, waiting for them to crash lol).

Harry

2012-01-12 22:35:59

You did the countcolor in the case properly? Then that should work fine, though I haven't gotten that error message at all yet.

the kuniva

2012-01-13 00:01:08

Yeah I used the same procedure in the login.simba script to get the colour count from that screen so should be good.
I think this new screen was added in with the new firemaking quest.

Press Play

2012-01-13 01:06:42

I think that you should keep both screens in login.simba.. because it says "client token failure" now, but, they might change it back to "RS has been updated". Then and again, we don't know they actually changed it to that; it could be a different reason. So I think it's better to have checks for both screens just in case (for now at least).

I added the client token detection as an extra, rather than overwriting RSUpated so it will still search for both.

Interestingly I had to restart my router while my scripts were running, this caused the Token error to come up on all 3 bots.. although crashsmart didnt work with my fix, hopefully thats because I pulled the plug and not due to my script not working lol.

Edit: Confirmed is working, figured out how to get the error on purpose which made testing easier.. Seems restarting you router will cause the issue (I'm guessing it's due to my IP changing as my ISP gives me a Dynamic IP)

It tried to log me in using "1" as a login mail, and some letter I couldn't see as the password.

You have to disable the form so that the script can just start running without and user input.

EDIT: under stuff you changed it says Login.simba edited to call the crash function instead of TerminateScript. Does this mean we don't have to place the procedure in the script anymore?

Yes, you can easily make the script reload SMART, but the issue with that is that it accumulates large quantities of memory, causing reduces framerate, and general thus decreasing script efficiency. This method entirely wipes all memory, and is very resource effective.

Does anyone know why SMART can't free the runescape applet through Java? I have a feeling that it's an inability to free the classloader. I've tried freeing it in a couple different ways but wasn't able to find an affective way to do it. I've also tried freeing the jvm library through c++ but I don't remember that being successful either.

The only other potential solution I can think of is to free and reload the SMART library through Simba; this might also be unaffective, similar to trying to free the JVM library from SMART's c++ portion.

I'm sure someone else here knows more on the matter, though; if so, please let me know.

Yeah, because Windows is garbage. You can easily free the JVM on Linux, just not on Windows without the memory remaining loaded.

SMART could run as its own process and the process could be killed, but I don't think that's possible with the current plugin system in Simba.

I average longer than 6 hours with my scripts (probably around 8), but with 4 hour GE limits, I have to stop them anyway. If I were to use a script that could be used for a longer time period, I'd probably average longer intervals.

Also, I think somewhere around half (maybe more; I'm too lazy to look it up) randoms are solved.

And how do I set up which script thingy to use for it without the form?

Hey, I'm just a beginner scripter barely, but I still don't know how to start a procedure that would log me back in the game after 6 hours. Sometimes the client doesnt take 6 hours to refresh, it takes maybe 6 1/2 or 7 hours, so I log out first before the client has to be refreshed, and my script never sees the "token failure, or client refresh" page.

Can anyone link me to a tutorial on how to make a procedure to auto log back in? I've tried the search bar. Thanks.

And I am not at all saying that crashSMART doesn't work. It does, I've seen it done before runescape auto loged out my account. :) So thanks Harry for the fix.

Did you make a batch file?
If so did you repeatedly put the line with your script in?
Lastly, instead of running simba, did you run the batch file?

Btw, make sure you made the batch file correctly.

yea i ran it with the batch file and it starts up the script and runs and even says crash update in the little text, im pretty sure the batch file is correct since it starts it and runs but im not very good at this stuff so i could of screwed up even tho it was just copy paste

heres the code i used Simba.exe -o test.simba -r and i renamed the script to that exactly

chief, Doesn't runescape update randomly between 6-8 hrs? Usually your account will be logged out before runescape updates because runescape auto logs out your account at the 6 hr mark as well. So your script might have stopped which caused the client to not restart. I'm looking for a fix, but I'm not sure how to start the procedure. Hope someone can help me with that.

Is it possible to just add another player in the script, with the same log in info? and the script will log in again?

how do you remove the form of scripts???

Firefighter_Emt18

2012-02-05 11:43:22

Alot of them if you start to declare players it automatically disables the but for some look towards the top of the script and look for something that says:

const
use_form = True

What you want to do in that case is change the true to false and then fill in all the declare players and anything else that needs to be declared.

the .bat works, if i close simba manually the .bat reloads simba, and re runs the script logs in etc.
i left it running till 6 hrs and it eventually client failed/logged out, however simba did not crash it just stays in the login screen
i then manually close simba and the .bat reloaded everything.
Is it because of a problem with the script not trying to relog to runescape so the token client failure box doesnt pop up?
i was using methminer.

If you are like me and tried to make the .bat in notepad and then ended up only being able to open your .bat file in notepad then what you need to do is:
1.) Click Start
2.)In search bar type "cmd", press enter (CMD box should pop up)
3.)type C:/Simba/YOURBATFILENAMEHERE.bat -r
4.)Press enter and it should run…
I kinda found this out on my own so I really didnt know if there was a better way to do this… Hope this helps someone :)

Modifying the source of SMART is the only way. Modify: public static final String TITLE. Should be in src/smart/Client.java or similar, check the first post's diff.

About that you have to find: setup.simba
It won't compile, I used the agility ape toll script.
It does nowhere say, setup.simba
Is this the line that you mean?

{$DEFINE SMART}
{$DEFINE SRL5}
{$i SRL/srl.simba}

Then I entered the line you said so it would like this:

{$DEFINE SMART}
{$DEFINE SRL5}
{$i SRL/srl.simba}
SRL_Procs[srl_OnRSUpdate] := @CrashSMART;

This is the beginning of the script:

program ApeAtoll;
procedure CrashSMART;

Writeln('You are using CRASHSMART, so we are going to reload your client after the RS update!');
SmartgetFieldObject(1488,'crash'); // will crash SMART (and Simba).

Used like: "RunScript.bat Script.simba"

You can also right click simba files and open with RunScript.bat.

RunScript.bat
@echo off

if "%1"=="" goto no_script
if not "%2"=="" goto too_many
if not exist "%1" goto invalid_script

:start
start "Simba" /wait "C:\Simba\Simba.exe" -o %1 -r
echo Simba died, Restarting...
goto start
goto end

:no_script
echo You need to supply a script!
echo.
goto help

:too_many
echo You supplied too many arguments...
echo.
goto help

:invalid_script
echo I can't seem to find that script of yours...
goto end

this would solve the DTM errors or anything like that people get.

When did it happen? I never got such thing.

It happened overnight, presumably when Simba crashed..

I had been getting a fair number of Access Violations that crash the whole process.

Using solid breaking methods, I can hit 12 hours proggies nonstop, so I have resorted to that instead.

I don't know why any of you guys are getting problems with it. It's been working fine for me. One cmd has been running over 5 days now. No random access violations, etc.

S1N, what version of Simba are you using? This shouldn't cause Simba to stop responding, it will just crash its entire thing. Maybe you have crov extension enabled?

Why can't we just have a program/plugin run when it detects the rs update, kill the smart/simba/java processes, and restart?

Yes but as he states, Its hacky.. You have to run batch files for each script.

None the less, good job.

I've put everything together right, i think, but I can't seem to get it to close the simba correctly. It'll just go back to runescape front page and sit there. If I manually close out of the simba, it'll start back up and work, but it doesn't automatically do it.

Any assistance on this?

You know this is for SMART client right? Not a web browser.

If you are using smart client to run scripts in, Then make sure you add the procedure and the line of code which calls the procedure when update is coming (check first post and read)

If anything you can use SMARTManager.

Try SMARTManager… It works with most scripts and its almost near a perfect release.

Then read it again. It's not difficult. If it exceeds your reading abilities, feel free to use the other solution posted in this section.

Sounds like a computer problem. Did it happen on 6.9c? Just try again and it shouldn't happen.

thx for the update harry, it works for me,
im using s1nmaples 1.5 and there's one bug that prevents the update from running flawlessly. when i get the message 'lost connection, …' i return to the login page, the problem comes next, the script just stops because it can't do anything and i get a message that some DTM's and bitmaps were not freed. idk how to prevent this, i have it with every version of s1n's maple script.
when i rerun the script and it tries to log me in, then it crashes and restarts

2012-03-27 22:28:55

hahahaha! I laughed so hard at the people confused about this It's very easy you HAVE to make your own bat file! just put in the info for YOUR directory (meaning where your script is and it will start then every 6 hours simba will crash itself and the .bat file will re open it. very funny though when I test it…..it kept reopening simba!

EDIT: ohh and put this: {$DEFINE CRASHSMART} in your script on the line below {$define SMART}

iRack93

I'm having a problem with CrashSMART right now. It starts up fine and the script runs fine. After 6 hours it doesn't restart itself though. It restarts itself after I close out of simba (where you see the script), but not by itself. I'm using the most current version, and I'm pretty sure that I've got it set up correctly. Any help would be appreciated!

Find "SetupSRL" in your script - add after it on a new line: SRL_Procs[srl_OnRSUpdate] := @CrashSMART;

The script only uses 1 location and stands on the same position all the time.
What do you guys think ^^?

Hello friend, this method is 3 years old.

If you're currently using SRL 6, it automatically spawns a new SMART on 6 hour reload.

xSorrels

Thanks! I believe I have the latest version.

Although, when running, it doesnt seem to fix itself after 6hour update.

Is there a setting that needs to be checked anywhere?

Make sure you have players[currentPlayer].login() in your main loop, and exit any infinite loop when not logged in.

No.

You need to have the if not loggedIn inside your mainloop.
