Log Burner

So I have a simple logburner script I put together. it is designed to be run at Verock East Bank and has smart. The setup is as follows:

//  ----------------SETUP-----------------------------
loadcount= 10 ; //how many cycles you need (27 logs per cycle)
BankCol=3 ; //log col in bank
BankRow= 2 ; //log row in bank
colorroad= 9144722 ; //grey road color to have getroadcolor work
threelet='ohn' ;//2-4th letters of name. I.E. Johntrucker='ohn'
// ---------------END SETUP----------------------------------------

The reason for the colorroad is I was having issues detecting the road to the north of the bank, and this seems to help the road color update properly. I am looking for detailed feedback, and sugjestions to make it work better. once it seems perfect, it will go live under public scripts.

Thanks for the help!

Edit 1: upped a new one with a couple of failsafes.

Edit 2: upped a newer one that seems safe enough to release. unless there are any major issues, I will release it under the public section.

Procedure initrun;
begin
wait(200);
I can't find the oh god, why rageface but it'd be appropriate =/

Please add some failsafes! And your indention:

if invcount=28 then
writeln('banked corectly')
else
Begin
closewindow;
writeln('banking failed, logging out...');
logout;
exit;
end;
in Bank, looks more clear now.

I like you using GetNewRoadColor, we were thinking of scrapping it in SRL-5. Glad to see at least someone still knows the use of it :)

But, failsafes!
What if the radialwalk fails?
If openbankfast fails?
The script will go crazy! In fact, if it logs out due to a random it'll happily click away on the entire login screen.
So be sure to take a goood look at those, they're important :)

I added a couple of failsafes (need more by the sounds of it.)

One thing I am looking for but I am having difficulty finding is how to terminate the script when I have the user logged out. I have looked for this and am still unclear how to achieve this (Im sure its right under my nose)

I am sure I will get there eventually…

Thank you cru1z1n and daniel. cru1z1n, I just have a hard time learning the "cleaner" ways of putting things. I guess like the kill:=kill+1; just always have worked, and I did not know about the inc(); command, or the randomrange command.

New script put up with suggestions implemented. Now it will burn logs or halt, not hang and do weird stuff at the log in window…

Unless there are any major issues seen, this ones going live in the public section.

Why do you have 2 posts on the same script? Delete one and have a mod move it.

If a mod could delete this thread, it would be appreciated, as it is live in the public script section.
