SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

I'm new here and have already made a few posts trying to get my client set up, and so far so good!

I just wanted to say hello to this amazing community, and honestly I think RSBuddy shutting down and me finding this site was the best thing that could happen to me. I'm already learning a little bit of the coding in just one day, and I really, really want to start on making a script of my own. Any suggestions for starting on my first ever script? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Shstiger! I'm glad to see people coming from sites, like RsBuddy, who have an open mind and willing attitude. :) You'll find that here at SRL we're always open to lending a hand to those who need it, so don't be afraid to ask questions. ;)

You can check out this post (incase you haven't) for a few more details on the general idea of SRL. In the tutorial island you'll find plenty of tutorials on how to make your very first script, whether it's simply chopping down a tree or mining truck-loads of ores, we have very detailed tutorials for all of that. So my friend, welcome to SRL. :)

Welcome! A good first script would be something like a draynor fisher/chopper and bank. As it uses everything most scripts will. Item finding, map walking, etc.

Good luck with learning to script, you'll find you are a part of the most helpful community in existence. :)
