How to set up:

• Fill out settings in script
• Place player either in bank, or at furnace
• have ammo mold in inventory
• place steel bars visible in the top of the bank
• press play

Bugs

• SPS is a little un stable, it might walk outside bank/ furnace. It should fix itself, but sometimes it doesn't
• None that I know of

Hey neat release! :) Looks like it would be a pretty good money-maker.

If the script was limited to just Edgeville I'd suggest using MM symbols over SPS. You can calculate how far you are from a symbol and that'll tell you where you are.

I used that before i put in sps, exactly how you explained, but i would also need to find the bank symbol, which is always hidden by people

I had that problem wish my fishing scripts. I made a custom bitmap to get around it. I found the colors in the symbol that could not be reached by a player/npc/item and made a bitmap from those colors at those exact points with just black in between them. Since the bitmap will ignore black it doesn't matter what color appears between those specific colors, it'll always be recognized. I'm sorry if I'm unclear lol, it's the best way I can explain it.

if sps ever gives me trouble in edgeville, i'll try out your idea :)

Well it messed up a few times. Sometimes it has trouble detecting steel bars in my bank when there is. It could be a little faster as well. Sometimes it has trouble detecting okayer location, but that's due to sps messing up… running it again now.

Oh I just saw that your working on a winegrabber. pm me if you need help. I made a few in the past.

I tried using tpa/ddtms to walk, but it was more inacurate than sps, although faster. I could always play around with it some more though

also, inventory/ bank items seem to be a little dynamic now. a new dtm should fix finding steel bars :p

Nice! also, you must be using the first version of the script, theres a new one with working Stats

It doesn't seem to be able to find any steel bars in my bank, while they are clearly visible.
Maybe it's because I have 10k+ steel bars?

I have 2k and I get the same, hmm..
E: Moved to second row in my bank, now it sees.

Yes, move the steel bars to the second spot (not row) of your bank and it will detect your bars.

Indeed, now it fails to open smelting menu because it's in f2p world. Any idea how I can change it to login into a members' server since I cannot do it manually in the client. I've already set Smart_Members := true

1. Start the script then stop it.
2. Once Smart finishes loading, disable it.
3. Login to your account and manually choose a members world.
4. Start script again.

Added a different Steel Bar DTM, and added a lost failsafe, if it's lost it will try to walk to bank

the script ran less then 20 minutes then logged out saying it was LOST so i logged back in and started again and it happened again (this time different location) this actually happend to me five times (including the tries above) but the last time it said that rs was updated so that isn´t really the script´s fault


but I do have a picture of where it went wrong the first time



and the second time was next to bank (and it couldn't find bank and wrote on the logg LOST:P)

When i'm done with online classes(maybe the weekend) I'll have time to work on alternative walking methods, thanks for the feed back :)

I would love to test more myself, but I was recently hacked(I forgot to get IP), so I don't have the money to get steel bars

Please read the threads about runescape updates….
Nothing will be working right now until we make some fixes and tweaks to SRL.

The bot fails to determine it's at the Al Kharid when the bank symbol has a dot over it. Possibly give more tolerance or use another identifier? The bot sometimes runs North after smelting, but it recovers by running back to the furnace. The bot also sometimes fails to determine where it is when it is at the furnace.

Had to change the cords and some relevant information to the pathing for edgeville to work, but now it's working 100% perfectly.

Most of those errors are because you didn't install Simba or SRL correctly. Besides, this script might be outdated :p I'll try and get around to fixing it eventually

I'm adding a new walking method which seems to always be the problem.

Literally two posts before you this says its outdated, as well as the big bold red letters in the top of the first post that confirms it. I kind of updated it, but it doesn't run for nearly as long as i would like it to, so it might take a while still for me to post a new version. And honestly, people not reading ANYTHING kind makes me want to forget about it.

Anticipating your script :) , but would you add the feature of urns? Just a suggestion though.
