Find boundary points

I am trying to find the largest area of an color and find its boundary and save it as points (.ini). I know how to save and write with inis, but I was wondering is there a non brute force way (like for degree = 0 to 360..etc) that I can use to find the points that makes up the boundary line ?

For example, in the below image, I got a red heart and a bunch of red dots, I am looking for the points that would make up the boundary of the red heart and hopefully not get interfered by the red circles.

An other example:

Say I have a big circle, I just want a tpa that has most of the points on the boundary (in this case the circumference) of this cirlce.

If not, another function that could help me a lot is to remove the red dots from the overall tpa. I could find the center of the red heart, and then the function could remove all the points that is not connected with the red heart (i.e the red dots).

Do you intend to get a Box around the image or do you want the actual boundaries to the images..?

If just a box, you'd get the TPA of the heart and just do GetTPABounds…

If you want the TPA of the actual shape… I think there's something for it in WizzyPluggin that analyses an object pixel line by pixel line

I want a tpa that contains all points that are on the boundary of an continuous.

Say I have a big circle, I just want a tpa that has most of the points on the boundary (in this case the circumference) of this cirlce.

Am writing something up, but its really really slow, so I was wondering as well if theres some function in wizzy plug in or other places. But I couldn't think of anything combination of functions that could help me do this faster.

Also, can any one explain to me tpagap?
