SRL Archive - RS3 Script Requests

I've been training fishing lately in Otto's Grotto and started to think barbarian fishing could be a great addition to MSI or just as a single script for fishing.

Please note that I do not mean barehanded fishing, but the heavy rod fishing in Otto's Grotto.

Pros and Cons:

+ Fastest fishing XP in the game(?)
+ You get a little bit of strength, cooking and agility XP from barbarian fishing
+ No banking
+ You only need a couple bait in the beginning of each fishing session (you use the fish you get as bait)

- You don't make money
- Otto's Grotto is rarely completely empty, and never full with people. Meaning you are almost always with 1 or 2 other fishers, so blending into a mass of people is impossible.

There has been a script from barbarian fisher. I think was Home who did it.
That script was made with reflection. I did used that script at the time, really good XP. Also used to use granite lobster + decorated fishing urns. Was a decent XP/H.
Now that Jagex broke every single reflection bot, Barbarian fisher script isn't working atm.
What you/we could do, would be asking Home to make the script works with color. Might be simple, using the same process that Flight used, and we shall be fine.

Isn't Home's a Barbarian Village fisher? He's talking about barbarian fishing (it's a different kind of fishing in RS).

If you're just looking for a Barbarian Village fisher, MSI has one.

There is the barbarian village ( south edgeville ), and there is the grotto fishin spot ( near the whirlpool ). The whirlpool one was the one that Home did. (heavy rod fisher).

Yeah I didn't realize Home wrote one.

Yes I know Home had a heavy rod fisher made, but 4 months have passed since the last post in that thread, the script is based on reflection(1) and there was some discussion about Home getting out of the scripting scene, so I decided to make a whole new request instead of just bumping the old thread.

And this is more of a suggestion than a request. I'm not in a dire need of this script since I try to keep the botting on my main to a minimum and barb fishing is pretty easy to do manually. Just giving out ideas to scripters who are bored about spots that they might not think/know about.

I'd also love to see this.
