SRL Archive - RS3 Script Requests

There's not many working public scripts that I can find.. and I see alot of people saying that particular scripts have been made, they just aint public.

So, I was wondering - would I be able to pay to use a script developed by somebody else? I know that SRL is learning-orientated and encourages others to start coding.. but I'm clueless and it will take ages for me to get a basic script working. I do plan on learning to code here, but in the meantime I'd very much like to bot. So get in touch if willing!

There is no buying-selling scripts. You only have to contribute to the community in order to be an SRL member. How to contribute? Make scripts, shows us your abilities on making scripts, help everyone, be a friend..

Ok, I guess I'll start learning tomorrow.. I have a few ideas about scripts but I know very little about coding, I wish I could contribute in any way other than making scripts though.. because it's definitely not my forte.

I like the idea of this site, I want to get involved but is there another way? I don't want to leech, hence offering to pay.

Just be helpful. Do what you can to at least learn some programming concepts and you will know what you're doing in no time. Get involved in some projects. Everything always needs to be tested.

Being an active contributor to the community comes over time. Just do what you can to help out and give feedback and you'll be fine. :)

Request scripts to be made but don't hold your breath. To most people, color is fairly new, and for those it's not, they still take time to develop. But keep an eye out, because I can assure you, there will soon be releases. ;)

all threads are archived for historical and refrencing purposes. chances are at least 1 more person will have the same questions as you did. and when they use the search function, god will save a kitten from drowning in a river…

You can help a lot by trying to get us some accounts which are now in randoms
Also, generally posting very detailed feedback is always welcomed. An example of *really* detailed feedback can be found at http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61503 but bear in mind, I was genuinely pissed off then. As a new person I'd suggest you choose your wording a bit more wisely as you haven't been here for longer than the MSI devs, but it shows you what I mean by 'detailed'. You won't require any advanced scripting knowledge to understand most of the useful things which are said there.
