I'm actually enjoying playing legit since the nuke. Not having to fight for resources is pretty amazing. Of course they are going to cut down the amount of servers sometime(jagex can't let anyone have too much fun) so I guess I'll just start using simba when that happens :p

Yes, indeed. Been playing for legit way to long, even before nukek day. Now that there's only 300 players each world (member world), you have no one bothering you!
Now, about servers…is that true?

I can't imagine them cutting down the number of servers because they most likely own them (Even if someone else does the upkeep), and they are always looking for their game to expand, it doesn't seem like something that would be practical for them to do.

Yeah, but it's pricey to keep up a server for only 100 people.

Companies are always trying to save money. Cutting down servers with <100 people on them will spare them for some outcome if it doesn't cost too much setting them up again if more people are to play this game in the future

I think if they can manage to keep the java bots down for a nice amount of time, a lot of old players will return. As their most concern was the amount of bots killing this game.

Side note: the market is crashing and prizes are rising and falling like crazy! I cant even buy eggs for 500 gp (while the market price is 78 gp)…

Yeah, I agree. I've actually been enjoying the game myself. It was to the point where I couldn't stand doing anything on it legit beside for PvM or pking without getting bored after 10 minutes.

I really hope the game is able to stay like it is currently.

True that, plus I like the fact that about everyone I'm playing with is actually legit and therefore responds when talking to them :)
It really does make the game more enjoyable.

Wish I could say the same lol. I'm restricted to only being able to see and use quickchat. When I made the account I picked a random birth date and I guess it was under the age of 13. It sucks but oh well.

Wow, I didn't know that's why they wanted to know one's age… Seems a bit restrictive.

There is a form I can print out from the parents section of the Jagex site. I'd have to fill it out and fax it to them but my fax machine is temperamental and any time I've tried to send it out it hasn't wanted to work.

It sucks lol.

Well I was playing legit before the nuke too but wasn't enjoying it as much as I used to back in da dayz

This… They cut two New Zealand servers in the last two weeks.. and they stopped upkeep on it.. the NZ/AU players who use these servers started a complaint on the forums and it got 500+ supporters including myself.. Though I'm from canada.. They were only asking for ONE server with updates like everyone else that doesn't have a ping of 300+…

Oh and there is another rant on forums for them too about the price of membership… it costs them 20$ to get a membership… Translate that to USD and it was quite a lot when they posted it. Ppl are saying it should keep up with currency so that everyone pays the same price as in the US.. 10$ here in toronto for a SMS pin and 6$ for a membership.. USD = 5$. For the NZ/AU ppl its more like 10-12USD lol..
