Why is Simba being a Butt?

So I was botting like crazy before the update happened with RSBuddy. I was botting agility and got it to 98 before the bots broke.

Now that they are broken, I've been trying to use YoHoJo's power miner and I have came to a conclusion that Simba is crashing my computer unexpectedly.

Before I could run 2x RSBuddys and play black ops/wow at the same time with no problems such as "crashing" issues.

Now i turn on the bot and browse facebook and it crashes.

I even did a test and left my computer on for 14 hours without nothing running and it did not crash.

Then today i played WoW and black ops throughout my day.

I then decided to bot again and within 5-7 mins my screen went black and my computer restarted.

I have no idea why I am having this issue as it probably is just me.

All my drivers are updated and i never ever had a problem with Simba till now.

Im running on Windows 7 x64 with 4gb ram, a 5770 graphics card and a 790gx mobo.

So I know my problems isn't a hardware issues as I can play games for hours and type this message here on villavu without it crashing…

Has anyone encountered this before? This is really frustrating and annoying as i want to get back into my botting phase again :(

Interesting indeed. Try delete everything involving Simba and install it again? Update your Jave as well because Jagex now uses the latest Java.

its not simba, its all rs. I dunno why but for almost every bot I tried rs lags like 10x worse.

Explicit type casting affects performance quite dramatically. Now that the client uses tons of Object[], theres plenty of casting to go around.

What do you mean crash.
Do you get a blue screen or does it just freeze or what?

Seems like your CPU overheats, try getting even better hardware or more fans or something.

Doubt that if he can play much more intensive games for hours and be just fine. Neither runescape nor simba are that memory intensive.

It just crashes. My computer is not overheating on RS, are you crazy -___- my cpu temps are 41 degrees when botting..

My screen goes black and my g15 keyboard is like flickering then it restarts it self.

I uninstalled Simba and re-installed it, and installed the latest java too. I thought i had it working last night and after 30 mins it crashed again, so i just went to bed.

It is definitively a simba issue thats crashing my computer. I'm sure this doesnt affect everyone, but something it clinging with my computer and i have no idea what it is.

I scanned for viruses, maleware, spyware and nothing has popped up, I really have no clue why simba is being this way on my computer..

I guess I'll just go play WoW and wait for RSBuddy to update.

Try doing a memory check. Also, do you run Simba as administrator. (It is very unlikely this is directly caused by Simba, btw).
Do you have a legal Windows? Up to date?

Is your computer overclocked at all? Did you change any CPU or RAM settings in the BIOS?

Try running simba without rs, see what happeneds
run this
Program BPM;
{$i SRL\SRL.scar}
Const
BPM = 54;

Var
T,BWT :Integer;

Begin
Setupsrl;
Cleardebug;
MarkTime( T);
BWT := ( ( 60000 - 100 * BPM) / BPM) + 100;
Disguise('We are doing ' + IntToStr( BPM) + ' Beeps per minutes. Gap Between each beep is '+ IntToStr( BWT) + ' Milisecond.');
Repeat
PlaySound( 'H:\Scripts\100MSAlert.wav')
Wait( BWT);
Until (False);
End.

Run that, and like watch youtube or something, and then run it and play rs.

I ran it for an hour and it crashed.

This is very weird, I was hoping it wasn't going to crash :/

Like ran with only simba and then crashed?

Yep simba was the only thing running it crashed after 1 hour.

I was watching tv while i let my computer run, now I'm playing runescape without simba and its running fine.

very weird.. my cpu is sitting at 2% running a bunch of crap & that simba script that was posted up above

I'll see if it crashes after a few hours, I haven't had any problems but this machines OS is similar to yours (except legal) so we'll see what happens

It seems that Jagex made the software mode of graphics rendering a ton slower with the update. Probably because they know that bots use it? Anyway, switching to OpenGL or DirectX removes all lag from the game for me, I'm not sure if this is related to your problem or not though.

Your hardware might be malfunctioning?

I had a similar problem before, where my pc would randomly crash (on things like Simba). But this was due to my RAM Memory being broken (or more specific, the combination I used apparently didn't go well together)

The RAM thing is more common than most people would know. I see it a lot at work and it's also one of the leading causes of the Blue Screen of Death. Dunno why it causes it just know that it does. (FYI I'm A IT System Admin and Computer Tech irl) ;)

My first post, first sentence. ;) Do it. You can even burn an Ubuntu cd and use the memtest on that.

Weird thing is, I did that multiple times and everytime it declared my memory as fine, yet I would get BSoD's.

I have a useful piece of information for you : I have a 5770 too! And I do get BSOD's but it could be said that simba does not cause them - it's been happening to me for a while. I'm quite sure it's because I'm using a vga>dvi adapter. It's been playing up since I bought it. Try looking on guru3d.com forums, that'll help.

Edit - And I do run W7x64 also.

I just did 10k threads and it was using up 3.1gb of my ram. and no crash….

This is with prime95 with all cores 100% and ram usage at 3.1gb. If it was ram it would have crashed within 30mins..
