Time to vote. I haven't looked into all of the games listed, so I can't promise I can host a server for the game that wins, but it'll give an indication of what we want anyway.

The poll was limited to 10 options, if you feel a particular game is missing, post.

Also, Mumble (voice chat ) might be fun.

I'm pretty sure Wiz can host it here at villavu for no added cost..

I voted for minecraft because the ping won't be acceptable for any FPS's where I'm located (I'm kinda picky with ping :p)

Since CS:S wasn't an option, I went for W:ET!

Furthermore, please remove Warsow, it's a horrible game. And for voice chat, use Ventrilo, Mumble (srsly!?).

Grand Theft Auto San-Andreas FTW!! seriously epic game, you can do anything from fighting, racing, free world, RPG. Pretty much anything.

murmur (mumbles server) is definitely harder to setup than the other two.. but wizzup?'s doing it


and I really hope the battlefront gets added, I loved the first one and barely played second..

:p Googling "W:ET" gives all you need. It's Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. There's not many people playing anymore I don't think, but it's a sweet game.

I would really like to have Wolfenstein or San Andreas, but MC would be fine too (as long as it support cracked clients, lol.) Voted for TF too because it is nice.

Wizzup? if I were to make a Runescape Private server somewhere down the line, would that be able to be hosted here? I'm not all sure what's required as it's been years since I've worked with them, but I recall them requiring next to nothing in usage/resources. I used to host a server for atleast 100+ people at a time on dialup, no problem.

Wizzup, if we go with the Minecraft server make sure to run Bukkit instead of the provided minecraft_server. :D

I've worked quite a bit with 317's/379's and hit the tip of the iceberg on RSC servers. But I even never given it a go at all of these 503,630's,ect… They're making private servers at the same rate Runescape is updating their game, it's crazy… Have you ever worked with these new type of servers? In any case, I think it'd be fun, Camaro'. :)

I actually worked mostly with 317s my self and spent some time on a 459(I think).

Never really was into 508s and the such. I'd definitely think it would be fun. But as wizzup? said, this discussion should be moved to msn first (after we get it to work) and then to somewhere else besides this thread.

I'm planning on hosting a san andreas multiplayer on one of my servers so we'll see if wizzup decides to and if not I will (and you can have the other which looks like team fortress currently)

my community wants that san andreas though

I changed my mind, I want Battlefield now. That game(1942) was so good. I just listened to it's theme and it brought back good memories. Ever since that I have never seen such maps or variety. Not even in bf3. It was not about fancy graphics, aye?
And it's super duper cheap, but well worth it imo.
