Since most of the other reflection bot is down, our only competitor at the moment is RID.

To those that still got time on their hands, lets all recreate all the magic we had in this community years ago, like mage arena enchanter, pest controller, wizzup's ess miner …etc or just convert your current scripts into color.
We could also give a hand to polish MSI up.

I think this is our chance to shine, and raw new comers to show them our way ( leech and learn) and spice up the atmosphere.

Iirc there is triple reward bonus'es this friday at soul wars. Perfect time for a script.

Castle War is actually pretty alright, the only hard part is get out of spawn room and then you can just afk:P

Anyways… I'll probably try my hand next week maybe, but this week I'll be busy taking advantage of what's been dealt.

Yes it is our time to shine, but it's kind of soon to say too.
We don't know how long it will be before other bots start working again but so far it seems like they have quite a bit of work to do. It's a nice time for us to strengthen up our color scripts and spread our knowledge of programing. Weather or not reflection/java bots come back it's always great to have working color scripts on hand!

I'm pretty sure devs on the other bots won't give up, so it's hard to say. In the meantime, I expect that we will get a few more botters over here, since we are the only ones that I know of that have a working color system. In the meantime, I'm busy getting walking down on one of my old scripts in color.

Testing out some MSI scripts would be great. Harry already said PS_YEWS walking wasn't working (not sure why at this time), and the Yew trees weren't being found. So any other skill and locations would be great.

As far as I know, any script that requires withdrawing probably won't work because of the smaller items in the bank. We'll figure out a solution to that as soon as we can.

I just made a 2nd DTM for the small items as a ghetto fix for now and have my script search for both large and small. Kind of tedious and stuff and maybe not the best way, but it's something. I'm pretty sure it's a graphical glitch and will be fixed soonish (I hope)

There is a graphical glitch (often times occurs after telporting (be it a spell or into/out of a random) which makes inventory/bank items appear smaller in size than normal.

Hey YoHoJo, I'm surprised to see you still around haha. I just logged i for the first time in like 400 days :rolleyes:

But yes, reflection bots will be down for a long time, and SRL is the most developed Color detection system for RuneScape, so I don't see why we aren't already attracting the hordes of people from the other communities…

Because we aren't very leecher friendly. That's also what has kept us alive all this time. :)

I'd love to help, but I have a ton of work to do these next 2 days. So maybe… this weekend? This might just be a reason to add more spells to MSIs magic include - seeing as it's a bit lacking at the moment.

I'm willing to bet the bank items was done on purpose and as a result the inventory glitch happened. If we have to use 2 DTMs for everything, that's kind of a pain in the ass, but there may not be another way. I'm sure we could develop some simple FindColor methods that would work just the same.

Maybe. I'm more worried about getting everything working right now. You're more than welcome to start (and I can help), but I'll be working on updating what needs to be updated plus adding Runecrafting alters to SPS so MSI's Runecrafting will work.

This is when a script manager might not be such a good idea.
I remember when RS Bot first came out, one of the most appealing parts about it was that you could download it, open it, and hit start. It was so appealing that people flocked to it. That is was appeals to massive amounts of leachers, something we dont want. I know a script manager was not the only played into their leacher issues, but I know it could certainly help attract the wrong sorts of people here. How difficult is it to look in a forum and dl a script?

Anything that needs to withdraw items from a bank. All mining, fishing, and woodcutting scripts should work just fine, as well as magic. Cooking, runecrafting, and money making probably won't work due to the small item sizes in the bank.

We have a DDTM database now, it's just not online. Everything is in this file if you're interested in checking it out.
