SRL & OpenGL Injection / Hacking

I'd love to be able to bot using OpenGL Injection, and this would give SRL a *great* advantage over other bots (Especially now that JaGeX are "shutting down reflection bots")

I am confident that we can successfully create a good plugin for hooking OpenGL for Simba if we work together. Remember: "T • E • A • M: Together Everyone Achieves More" - Coh3n's signature

I remember silentwolf and Frement both made their own plugin to do so for Simba, but they didn't get enough attention / the plugins were abandoned pretty quickly…

Some links / pictures from silentwolf's and Frement's plugin:
^ Notice *ALL* objects have their own ID (even the bones, the gates and the fences).
^ OpenGL can also include GUI-related stuff like clicking game-tabs.

I have also been interested in this…time to start learning opengl.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Wait a day, lets see what tomorrow brings.

OpenGL Hooking would benefit us either way really.. I'm just using this as an opportunity to increase attention of OpenGL hooking, heh

I just wanna learn opengl…and this gives me more of a focus.

I've actually been thinking about this quite a bit. A number of FPS aimbots use OGL hooking I'm relatively sure (at least they did in W:ET days, I think), and punkbuster was pretty good at stopping them, but there were a select few that were undectable and some that were quite simple (just wall hacks iirc), and also weren't detected. So I think Jagex could, at some point, detect this and it would be (I think) much more dangerous for botters.

But I dunno. CONSPIRACIES!

If there is a way to keep resource use down with ogl, it might be the future.

I liked the idea when it first came out and I'd love to test it out if you guys get it working with simba (looks like frement was trying) I'm not sure if smart can run openGL right at this moment though

JaGeX would have to make us download a program that would allow them to check for hooking of the opengl.dll in the windows32 folder (for windows obv.) and so on if that would be the case. (I think)
CS also had a lot of OGL aimbots and wallhack back in the day.. :p

It can't at the moment, but I'm sure that could be changed.

Yea, I wonder how many resources it would use.. certainly would hurt older machines with integrated graphics that are running multiple

well message me if any multi testing needs to be done, my gfx has 2gb of memory so should be able to run as many simbas thrown at it with opengl

Or they could just check your java bin folder for any changes to the opengl32.dll

There are ways that they could check it but there are always ways around protection..well almost always.

With forced signed java, they could do things like do an MD5sum on the dll and see if its different. Pretty easy, if its off by X bytes, force the user to update it or just not load RS.

Possible.

Well that's not that big of a deal, is it? And, like mormonman said, they may not need any program at all, depending on what the changes they're doing. They could just check file sizes or the like.

I think.

It's something to look into for sure, though. Should definitely be noted that it does run a risk by testing/using it.

In the event this turns out to be a success, I think we should keep this private with SRL and keep it within Members+ sections.

Word dawg. Until it's stable we release it to Jr. Members… Other then that keep it for members.

i assumed he meant keep it secret or at least keep how the "secret srl member's cool method" works secret so that it doesn't end up getting blocked.

Well if it got out then what would stop other bots from using our method? Some things are best kept within special sections here on the forums. Even if it were developed via SSRL+ then that's okay by me, as long as it stays within SRL.

You can't minimize and it is a resource hog.

I've been reading about OpenGL hooking lately, I found this site helpful if anybody wants to check it out.

Gamedeception is good but they aren't going to be much help unless you're making FPS cheats ;)

Well that sucks.
Is there *no* work-arounds or hacks..? There must be…

Wizzup?

The problem is sending input to a minimised window. A solution would be to run a VNC display for each client, but I don't know if Windows can do this. (Linux can!) (VNC display with own mouse and keyboard)

grats

2011-10-25 22:05:19

just make smart unable to minimize and people can just run it behind their web browser or w/e it up.. I wouldn't mind at all

big downfall for me though, couldn't virtualize all my clients and give them rotating IP's anymore
