This so completely WAAAY over the top I keep checking the date to see if it's April 1st. This is so unlike them to stick their neck out like this in advance.

Bahahahhaha I laughed out so loud just going to the homepage and seeing that.. Jagex must have something mad godly.. Why? Cuz they're never actually this serious.. I mean think about it. All the past shit, they never did anything and now it's just one giant Hiroshima on bots. With a count down too omg.. lolol I seriously can't even wait anymore to see what rs is like after this.

Tbh though I think they're pretty dumb for putting a timer.. cuz now bots will stop botting right before that timer hits 0.. if they didn't and they just did it randomly, so many bots would keep trying to play and get screwed.. That's if they can detect bad logins multiple times from the same IP.

They'll probably shut RS down :P

omg…when I first opened Runescape webpage, I stayed like: WTF? YOU KIDDING ME?
They surely have a big update for bots. Don't even want to see it…

I think we have enough threads about this already… How about we just wait and see what happens, if they can shut down the bots for good then grand, but we're SRL, we don't rely on what they're targeting. We'll all know in a matter of hours what they have in store so let's just calm down and leave the panicking to the other bot sites…

I don't see panicking as much as anticipation. The botting community seems almost as giddy as Jagex with excitement and anticipation: the "next big challenge" is almost here…

Anyways, we gotta keep this serious guys, maybe this could be the end of us, maybe not the end of color botting, but the end of reflection, and if you guys didn't notice yet, that most of the working scripts at the moment are made of reflection mostly…

Why does everyone forget about MSI? Its almost PURELY colour, and it has so many scripts built in, its partially insane !

I would faaar from count us out. The only thing that may break slightly is SMART. :(

I wonder if they will change the client so that it can not be loaded external to the JaGeX client. That would be awful for most bots, but we will easily survive that one, just not as efficiently !

I didn't forget MSI at all. But still, its a big part going away from us… :(

Yes indeed. SRL has many scripts, mostly made by Reflection. Tomorrow, SRL won't have as many scripts as we had previously (working of course). We still MSI, which is a good start.
But all I want, is not to get banned! lol
Let's wait for it! 12 hours and 55 minutes and counting! What shall we expect from tomorrow update?! :)

Well jagex is definitely taking a different tack then the mass aryan bot ban. I almost appreciate the warning :P. I wonder if they've been tracking who's been botting with injection…and for how long.

Doubt it. They are probably testing beta releases right now and seeing how external components of their website are working with them.

I dunno, I was just playing under 5 minutes ago. (I wanted to try one last time to get my $$ back from boxing, instead I went down another 30m. Lost 265m/295m in 3 days now, yay!)

A play by play of whats happening:
Right now the Super Fighter F-JaGeX plane is approaching its target.
The United JaGeX Air Force (UJAF) will drop the nuclear bomb code named ClusterFlutterer.
The cities of RsBuddy, Rsbot, and Nexus are all major targets - despite the defiance.
President Mod Mark Gerhard says an estimated 1.5million people (known as bots) will die and those cities will no longer be in action.
To celebrate the deaths of these bots, JaGeX is awarding vast amounts of experience to its loyal people.

I assumed someone would release somewhere why reflection bots won't work anymore. Possibly what we refer to as hooks have been removed or they are inaccessible anymore…
