This site has a link to pre-order Modern Warefare 3 for PS3, XBOX, and PC for 48$. You have to wait a couple more days versus picking it up from the store, but hey 15$ savings for a little wait doesn't seem bad to me. Just picked this up for PS3 =)

True. I wanted to write something similar, but I considered my post(which I didn't posted) too offensive and didn't want to start flame war.
But 2 and 4 is good too.

Well I was a late bloomer and didn't play COD or many FPS till MW2, and I always like new maps/weapons and kill streaks, and since MW2 is all I have to compare to black ops, I liked the MW series better over black ops, Zombies was a fun addition for B.O though.

Ewww, MW2 as first cod game? Basically you have never seen a good one. Try 1uo/2/4. One of them is at least a must(based on preference, for me it's 4).
But yeah, kill streaks are killing the game.

You can't rip on him enjoying MW2 as his first cod game…that is a solid FPS to start on for sure. I started on 4…and loved every second of it.
