I am looking to buy some headphones but have some preferences and I'm not to good with this type of stuff.
Looking for:
Around ear(on ear)
This sort of material / design for the ear piece

and something that i can bring around and about. (To school and such) without it being to bulky.
Under 100$ preferably.

You mention bringing them to school, it's a little over your budget probably but maybe a pair of ATH-M50 would be nice.
sf411 linked to semi-open headphones, which aren't bad but they'll leak noise if that's a concern for you.

Sennheiser headset's are my FAVORITE! If you can afford them, get them. You will not be disappointed.

i got the Sennheiser HD 202 because i am super cheap and all my headphones have broken within a year. I quite like them, and if they are not as clear as other headphones of higher price, i can't tell at all.

I might end up getting these. Do they look / feel bulky? I went to the store and tried the demo Bose headphones, do they feel similar to those?

NO NEVER! They are overpriced and BS!
There are MANY alternatives in the same price range which are MUCH BETTER than beats.
Beats are just expensive because they come off as being really good, endorsed by Dr. Dre, and look nice.
Here's just one AMAZING alternative in the same price range:

iirc, not even Dr Dre endorses them. I think he even said they suck.
I think he's just selling his name for loads of DOSH

I dont know about bose, but i feel like bose are kinda heavy and whatnot? but i mean they're not heavy, and i dont really feel like they are bulky, but they do have a certain weight to them that you're gonna get from any on-the-ear headphones. Even if you happen to really dislike them (which i can only really see if you are an audiophile and happen to be able to tell the difference from really high quality sets), they are really cheap and you could just wear them when you don't feel like risking your 100+$ headphones and should still be happy.

Trust me, those bose will be nothing like the sennheiser. Ive used lots of quality head phones and the high end bose are the best Ive used.

Please stay away from Bose, they are the monster cable of headphones/speakers. The only thing your paying for when you buy them is the brand name. I did a report of the sound quality in my Physics 1 course, and with a modified lamp cord - that I bought for $2/ft - no one in the class could hear a difference between them and the $300 Bose headset (which was bought and returned on the same day).

This.
STAY AWAY from Skullcandy, Bose, and Dr. Dre Beats.
Overpriced, not good!
AKG, Sennheiser, Grado, AudioTechnia are all good shit.

I beg to differ. I can deffinately hear the difference between a pair of Bose and another pair of mid range Sony head phones. Some people can, some can't. Of course if you can't it doesnt really matter, but to me it does.

it also depends on the music you listen to. I listen to a lot of metal, so any set that has good quality base and sounds fairly good will all sound the same i would assume.
If you're listening to classical music or instrumental or whatever that could benefit from a supergood quality of sound, then that may change one's mind too.
monoprice.com seriously try it. they are good quality and they are VERY VVERY CHEAP. You can return it or exchange for a new product if they are ever defect.

They do not have a big selection of headphones - not a fan of earbuds - but I think I can find something of use off this site, thanks for the link!

Legit as legit they can get.
What they say is what you get. Really good place for cables, cords, misc "junk".
I personally wouldn't buy headphones from them though.
Would you consider IEM's? RE0's are pretty good and they are like $80

If you're not looking for anything too special at all and just want a pair of working headphones with that kind of over ear style then I'm sure those will be fine.
But I think it's totally worth spending good money on headphones and you should save up/dish out more for a good pair! :D
But hey, if that's all you need/want then go for it, three five star reviews on them.

Yeah I can dish out more if I find out that I like.I also want a light weight pair of headphones. I didn't buy anything yet but those are my top pair of headphones as of now.
