Another Game? (or more)

This has been brought up various amounts of times but as an older member it would be sweet to try to script for another game. Java based or w/e. Something plausible or that can be made possible with plugin of sorts. I can't think of any game off the bat, but would be nice if we all gave it some thought.

Another Java based game would be easy.
If we get a OpenGL plugin we could expand perhaps? Idk… just throwing some ideas out.

I think RS is slowly dying anyway. :p Unless Jagex starts caring about the game again rather than making money, it's history.

It would have to be a popular game, another MMO perhaps? I'm not really sure what kind of games are out there.

Yeah I think a new interest will spark us to partake in coding more. Same game gets boring… and we've basically conquered RS.

New challenge please. :)

I'd like something low-end multiple player like Runescape. All these advanced 3D streaming games are too much… Is that what you had in mind, Narcle?

I actually searched a lot for alternative games to rs but i wasn't able to find any that were even close to it, but here are some that people might be interested in:

True, though it provides an interesting challenge either way. Like the FVB I made. I wasn't really interested in the game, but I thought it would be a fun change of pace. While I was right, I lost interest in the project after awhile.

Either way, I'm up for the task of botting a new game, it'd be fun.

R.O.S.E Online has a great amount of users and a great amout of web-pages offering money for in-game items.

Even the private servers like TitanRose has so many users that people create web-pages for RWTing

It's a pretty fun game, but not really "free". I've played it before. I don't know how much you could really bot though. I guess making bots to level stuff up, or something.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, there isn't much RWTing potential, if that's what you guys are after.

Also, please make sure you have a hardware accelerated video card, with at least 32 MB of video memory, that supports at least OpenGL 1.3 natively.
