Sounds weird tbh. Surely a merching clan. Last case, would be bots, but I doubt that.

merching, for sure. Its only slightly worse than the crash to the left

Price manipulation clans have disappeared from the game after free trade came back.

The crash started with BXPW just like it did with so many other items. You can actually find a lot of graphs that are almost identical with the graph of black dhides in the last 90 days.

Yeah I'm not sure sure about that one. It seems like Extremes are always favored, so why those herbs are dropping I'll never know.

This one is caused by botters, just look at other herb/seed prices.

Really I don't think it's that big of a deal. I could be quite wrong, but the last few months seem relatively stable, and of course bxpw will make prices a bit unstable for a bit. Nothing to worry about, imo.

(Still, I'm a bit unsure about herb prices.. Oh well. Still plenty of ways to make money. :p)

The word on RS forums is that torstols are dipping because of bots, but I have hard time believing bots would have such a dramatic effect in such short amount of time in an item that is used a lot in the game… In my experience bots don't cause crashes, they cause steady decrease in the price of an item over time.

When all the people who bought into torstols (and all other skilling materials) for months before the BXPW realised the prices weren't going to go up like they did last time (in the last BXPW where prices skyrocketed) they dumped them trying to cut out losses. That caused a small crash which got even more people panicking and here we are. It started with BXPW but now it's just people who spread chaos all around them.
Well that's just my theory, that's all I can think of since I don't see this being the result of bots or game updates.

For other herbs the crashing it's mainly BXPW's fault.

Why the sad smiley? It's a real buyer's market out there right now and I'm loving every second of it. Not sure if it's too late to get involved, some prices are already started to rise back up and I've moved on from the buying stage to the selling stage. People seem to think there's money to be made only when you hoard stuff for the weekend, but I think there's A LOT more money to be made from the crashes that come afterwards.
