Heya,

So I've been working on an AIO fighting script lately, aimed at the purpose to take what we've seen in fighting scripts a little further. (To the next stage, if you will) It relies heavily on Reflection, but because of this, everything you could imagine, for PvM, is taken into account and constantly being checked.

The base script took just 2 and a half days (of solid scripting) to fabricate. But all of the tweaking has taken that much time and then some. I don't plan on it being perfect but I will constantly work twords this goal.



That's my first endurance run with the script; tested on Dust Devils. In this case, I started out with 3 Stallion Unicorn pouches and 8 Sharks, using 34 healing scrolls and 0 sharks (I ate one after the script stopped).

To make extended familiars I simply whipped up an optional option if the player would like to take a sip of a Summoning Potion when Summon Points were below 10 and they needed another familiar summoned.


So anyways… The script is showing promise. I've still alot of variables to check thoroughly so I might have to do some more tweaking to get things set out right, but you can assured of a soon release. :spot:

I can't wait - been looking for a good AIO fighter with range support for some time (because RSBuddy/PowerBot can't pick up items to save their life).

Yeah I'll have to do some testing with Ranged, I've not given that a try, but in theory it shouldn't differ at all. The item-picking works just fine, I don't know how fast it would be for trying to pick up arrows with less than 5 stack value on the ground (because they're 1-3 arrows are hard to click on a tile).

I've used your strongholder with ranged training with steel arrows and I generally end up with more than I started with. :p

I would take that as a compliment if the Strongholder was my script. :p I believe that belongs to Iamadam. Or are you talking about Catacomber?

Ha no worries, I just maxed my melee very recently (with this script) and I'm running it for the charms/effigies. :)

Those sneak peaks are getting me anxious! Can't wait for script release! I'm not too far away from getting maxed, but I'm far away from getting an unicorn, if you know what I mean!

I'm sure this will end up the most used script here, once released. You are, a really good scripter. I've seen nothing but improvement from you and your scripts.

Not bad. Would there be any possibility to have a constantly updating paint in SIMBA? Just askin'. I believe it would require too many resources, but still.

You basically have it recall the paint drawing procedure at the end of each loop, right? (And within some procedures to, I guess)

But yea, i think you need to make script SRL mebemrs (and up) only, not for all, even i`t a srl member (just a junior lol). :D

I think it should be for everyone… That way more leechers are attracted to SRL.

But that's my opinion.

Also, the familiars included in the script are just the ones intended to heal the player, so what purpose would a terrorbird/tortoise serve?

This sounds like a good idea, because it a win-win scenario. Leachers will come for the script bringing in, hopefully, even more talent. While also giving members an edge with extra features that the script is capable of.

I +1 this idea.

Tested the Ranging out for the script, seems to work just fine. I just disabled the random camera rotating. So this could be an alternate orge-ranger script. (minus the looting)

IMO you should definitely do that. I've always thought that's how we should do scripts. Sort of brings it back to the old days when no banking scripts were aloud to be public. :) I've even got some things in mind for MSI that I'd like to release for only members+.

Lite and Pro? Like the idea.. it'll give people more to look forward to in SRL Members. Since this is a AIO fighter, just add tiles to certain locations, which require certain settings. That would be AIO.

Oh, and the familiars question: Terrorbirds and tortoises are just a way to store more. Like a lot more.

I totally agree, leechers get a taster of what can be made with public scripts and told what is in the members + scripts or also people that have donated to script/srl ? (just a thought). But I definitely think that there should be some sort of encouragement to go for members. Which also helps with script count going up so better for all.

^ This. Just because I, euphemism, or some other member of the forums, have not obtained members + status does not mean we are instantly less-worthy of using a script. I can just as easily contribute, compared to a member, to SRL Stats, submit progress reports to a script's thread, and help debug issues.

I suggested that you could allow people who have donated in some way are able to use it to.

Why do you think everyone should take advantage? As Jakkle said, it is free, compared to other bots. For you to be complaining about something like that and calling others selfish, shows me that you probably do not know the full definition of the word..

how about make it viewable to those who donated at least $1 to SRL? just an idea BTW i donated $2 if ur wondering where i got the idea. At least ill help support SRL

Wow, so much anticipation for this release, everyone's arguing. Being that Flight is the maker of the script, I think he should ultimately decide how he wants to release this. Without people protesting whether it should be like this or that. Either way Flight's a great scripter and I'm sure there will be more awesome scripts from this guy.

Wow… well I certainly didn't expect to cause trouble inside the thread, so I'll post my own personal opinions. (Not taking into account what others say, this is just my opinion)

First of all, absolutely nothing on this forum costs anything or ever will (as far as I know). The SRL/Reflection libraries; free. Every script on this forum, including members, free. A mature community who really will jump at the opportunity to help you with anything, especially scripting; free. So why not have a pro version Members+ Should they not be rewarded for their efforts to contribute? They spent the time, got to know the SRL/Reflection includes well enough to produce their own scripts, worthy of gaining the Member rank.

It's very easy fellas, everything you could need for a script is at your fingertips. The hard part is done, you just have to supply the idea and use the wide selection of tools to fabricate a script. Show some activity in the community, let the higher-up ranks know you want to be a part of it, and you shall be.

Donations are wonderful! Believe me, this idea has crossed my mind of donators being able to view certain scripts. Because like I said earlier nothing here costs money (and I for one will keep my scripts free for everyone) but that doesn't mean money shouldn't go to a better cause like keeping the community up and running.

Now back on topic of the script. I think I'm pretty close to a stable release, just minor adjustments now. I want to see ALOT of people modifying this script and making their own from it. I want to see it turn into something specific, like a Waterfiend-killer, or maybe a base Slayer-script.

Guess I can try to use this as a base for a chicken killer with a custom special attack feature.. you know, the chickens.. they're powerful.

As far as I'm aware of you need to be an accomplished scripter to become a member+. So in a way they are more worthy of getting some of finest scripts, instead of an average joe who does nothing but leech. Sure, there are non-members here who contribute and are a part of the community, but most registered and junior members are pretty lazy.

People here are talking about what kind of scripts non-members "deserve" but all I see is people driving their own agenda… Non-members saying it should be free for everyone because blaa blaa, but they just want to be able to use the script themselves. Members+ saying the script should be members+ because blaa blaa, but they just want to keep the script exclusive.

About the script: You seem to be getting a lot of hype around this project Flight. :P If a lite version is ever released I might have to reconsider leveling up my main. (I'm a low-mid level skiller)

Absolutely, do whatever you'd like with the script, just if you decide to release your work be sure and give a little bit of credit in your post for me. :)

I have no problem personally release the Pro version for everyone, but then what message would that send new comers? Unlike RsBuddy, nothing here has a price tag, and it'll always be that way. Applying for Members on the forum is very simple, my friend, it doesn't cost anything and, I think, it's about 40% of the script you use to apply with and 60% how involved you are with the community. This is a great place, people are very friendly and helpful, don't be afraid to get involved and strike up some conversations with people. :)

For sure, use it whereever/however you want. If there's a certain NPC you'd like me to try it on before hand lemme know and I'll test it myself. There's still just, looks like, two issues I need to sort out and it'll be ready to hand out.

if everything this community makes is free to leech, then we will get leechers and nobody will care to script. but if we were to do lite and pro for scripts and make some scripts exclusive to members, but have a thread that says what scripts are there so people will want to become members to have access to those then people will try to get members so they can use the better scripts.

Also I never said anyone SHOULD pay for anything, just that if you have donated to srl or a scripters donate link then they should also be able to use it. There for giving the chance to people that don't have the time to script.
As flight said this community is free to join the scripts are free weather its members + or not. I agree that it should stay that way, but supporting people buy donating to them helps them get bots to be members and build p2p scripts.
I was only suggesting, giving my opinion. It is up to flight full stop, what he does with his scripts and I'm happy what ever choice he makes :)
