I've been reading about MultiThreading in scripts, and it seems the easiest way to do this (artificially) is to use the SetTimeout function; however, the only posts that I can find which discuss SetTimeout were written back when SCAR was used and Simba's SetTimeout has different parameters.
I can't find SetTimeout in the handbook either, so here's my question:
How do you use SetTimeout in Simba?

multithreading is not possible right now in simba, if thats what you're asking

SetTimeout in Simba is used for assigning a timeout function to socket connections.

Technically it wasn't possible in SCAR either. There were other ways of simulating multithreading though, such as
this. Since SetTimeout is a different function now, does the form method still work?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't, there are TTimers in Simba.

TTimer <> TThread
I think he meant real multithreading was not possible in SCAR ether

Alright I'll give it a shot and post my results so everyone will know for sure.
Thanks for the responses!
