I'm not a fan.

**This isn't a thread about a script request, but a request for a change to the public script forums**

Whenever i was bored on Runescape, i would come take a stop by the public scripts forum and look at the scripts at the top of the page (the ones that were recently updated, new scripts, popular&useful scripts), find one that i found useful or interesting and test it out. I didn't come to the forum to find a script for a specific skill; i came to browse the scripts, and maybe train using a new method and give some positive feedback to the scripter.

With the new organization i have to look through each of the skills sections separately, which can be very tedious. I don't feel that this change was necessary; if you were looking for scripts to a specific skill the thread located at the top of the forum allowed you to do that.

Just my 2 cents

I actually agree with this a bit, but it's not up to me ;)

I vote for somehow have both at the same time and leave it up to the users to choose which view they want to have

And what if the person looking for scripts hasn't been online for a few days? The script will be pushed to the bottom defeating the purpose of the new 'organised' method.

I don't know if it's possible, but in win7, you can make libraries, basically a fake folder that contains folders elsewhere without actually containing the things in the folder. Being able to do the same thing on the forums would be ideal, so you could just have the meta "folder" be the public scripts forum itself.

Either that, or if there were a way to make the different subforums simply be the same forum as the parent, just with the filter for the type of script.

Like i said, idk if either is possible, but that would fix the problem of having different opinions on which was better.
