Question about bans.

Lets say you have a few accounts that bot for cash. If you get caught for botting will the account that you transfer money to also be caught?

Is it safe to say that if you bot for cash and routinely transfer the items/cash over the money will generally be safe?

Hard to say for sure. We're not Jagex employees, so we can't know 100%, but I do know that it wouldn't be hard for Jagex to ban the 'bank' of an army. They probably won't, but there's always a chance.

You think multiple banks would be safer? Or using some type of proxy/vpn for the banker. Not sure if I would necessarily do this to make sure I'm safe.

What if the trades went Bots –> Banker1 (Middle Man) –> Banker2

I wonder what the safest way possible to go around this would be.

Also are normal trades between accounts the safest? (Like using signed and unsigned)

Or drop trading?

Again, no way to know for sure. Sorry, can't say much more than that. The best you can get is anecdotal evidence, but there are quite a bit of factors for this.

Mate, Jagex would track your ip. If all accounts have same ip, that would be a mass ban. I already thought on doing that ( transfering wealth from bank to bank ), but I think it's too risky =/

This is why anecdotal evidence is the only way to know (although it's hard to make a solid decision). Plenty of people have big armies, all on one IP, that interact with a single char/each other.

I've only heard of a few IP bans.. most were from famous players, and one was WT-Fakawi, due to messing with the rs .dat files.

Well, it's always uncertain what Jagex does =/

I am certain that no they do not do that, but you can never be sure. I think they would just ban the account that macroed because you transferring GP isn't against the rules

Yes it is..

They don't ban the people who wipe others' banks, so I really doubt that this would happen. My only suggestion would be that you should use middlemen if you are transferring huge amounts of money to not to get accused of rwt.

Another thing I wanted to talk about.

When you use signed and unsigned.

Signed: All accounts using signed are somehow linked together? Client is cached. Jagex can see your public and private IP Addresses so they know you are on the same computer if you are multiple logging in.

Unsigned: Accounts aren't linked? Jagex can see your public IP but they don't know if you are on the same computer or not. RS isn't cached.

I'd like to know if I got that right.

Hmm don't know that!. Also, injected Java? What's that? Anyone could me explain?

Basically it's injecting methods into RS client classes to return the values of fields to your bot at runtime. It's all done via Java bytecode because we obviously don't have the source code of the client :p

Yes it is..

This, I got banned (My main) for transferring money from a macro to my main account. This was a perm ban in 2007, which my m8 also got banned perm. They banned the macro first then our accounts after.

4. Can I give items to another player from one of my accounts, so that they can then give the items to another character that I play?

No, this goes against the rule. You may not transfer items between your accounts in any way.

Jagex a long time ago, banned my main for RWT when I transferred gold from my marco account onto my main. They did ban my macro account a few weeks after. It's hard to say what they will do since I've been trading gold between all my accounts and no bans since trading came back…

And Jagex can track it, right? See if we are botting or not?

Wouldn't it be easier to just decompile the java classes, add your malicious code and then recompile them?

If you want to know what java bytecode is:

Edit: They can track it. They can also track SMART and almost any other bot.
