Personally, I hope everything goes well for him. I'd be pretty amazed if it did (health-wise), but I really do hope. I'm not a fan of Apple, but he's a very successful and bright man.

Yeah, it was something to do with image scrolling, which features the same on all Android devices, so why Samsung had to suffer, I don't know… It's interesting though, because Apple have found one breach of patent laws with Samsung, Samsung have supposedly found 28,700 breaches, but Samsung are talking about how they don't want to ruin their relationship with Apple "just to sell a few million mobile phones", which irritated me, because Apple don't really supply anything to Samsung, but Samsung's components forms more than 50% of the iPhone (by value), and that's just one device.

To those of you who were following the lawsuit against the Galaxy Tab, here is an image that was supplied to the German courts, it really pissed me off a bit…

EDIT: @masterBB, I'd say Steve Jobs is worse than Bill Gates by a long shot, people seem to ignore the fact of how much Gates gave to charity.

How do you know what image is supplied to the German courts? Are they even released to the public? I'm pretty sure that's fake, unless you can find a legit source.

I posted the source, it's from the BBC, I'd say that's a pretty legitimate source.

I could, but I was really hoping to go onto contract as I can't afford it in one big lump sum, although I am earning now, it's an option.

From what I understand, they have 7 weeks to terminate all sales of those phones, and that technically means that they have 7 weeks to terminate their delivery to the Netherlands for the devices, which is their only trade chain. But I think the Apple lawyer has said that they'll have to file another lawsuit to get other bans if they exercise the said freedom.

OR if Samsung goes ahead and updates it software to Android 3.0 on all it's devices, then it nullifies all of Apples lawsuits.

While we are on the topic of apple, I just like to mention that I am a mac user.

I personally love my mac book for its overwelming power over my previous laptop, a dell d620. It runs windows nicely but MAC OS X is the worst operating system ever!!! It can't run SIMBA!!! The best decision Apple ever made was to create the boot camp add-on that allows me to use windows.

Side note, does anyone here use Linux?

It's really hard to imagine that one day we'll all be dead. Sad face. Get well soon Steve.

Buy apple shares while they are down because Jobs quit! As soon as apple comes out with the new iDontReallyNeedThisItIsWayOverpriced device and everyone thinks they need it the shares will go right back up again!

Samsung already said they'll just keep selling. They're going to update what's necessary, though. Plus, the "banned" models were at their end of their lifetime anyway, and new models will replace them or already have replaced them (Galaxy S -> Galaxy S Plus and Galaxy S II -> Galaxy S II Plus, which should be released next week). All that Apple has gotten out of the lawsuit is negative reactions, not much more ;)

They can't. Google won't release the honeycomb source code because "its only meant to go on tablets". Sammy would have to wait for ice cream sandwich

S II Plus?!?!?! AWESOME! My friend had to get his Galaxy S II shipped here to the U.S from Europe to obtain it. It seems like one of the best phones (if not the best) out at the moment. What does the "Plus" actually mean?

1.4/1.5GHz dual-core upgrade (I think it's the same processor overclocked)
720p screen resolution.
4G connectivity.
Android 2.3.4.

As far as I'm aware, these are the only features to receive an upgrade, except perhaps the aesthetics.

Samsung Galaxy II and HTC Sensation is where its at right now. Simply greater than the iPhone in so much ways…

I'm kind of happy to see him leave. I don't like Apple much, I do hope he gets better though. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone.
