Before you even read this, know that I'm not looking for "use linux" replies. I already have linux, this in in reference to my windows partition…
I had to get Microsoft office to be able to use Word for school assignments (yes it HAD to be word). However, I have Tiny7 which is obviously not an official microsoft version. When I DL'd Office, I got a microsoft version checker with it, didn't know about it at first obviously. Now I constantly get a task bar pop-up telling me to verify my version of windows and whenever I set a background on my desktop, after ~15 mins it will disappear and go to black.
Anyone know where I can find the Microsoft version checker on my PC and delete it? I've been searching for a while and haven't found anything.

PMed you a crack for Windows7. (I'm pretty sure that this should solve your problem, yes I know Tiny7 itself needs no cracks or anything, but I've had that problem before and it normally appears when 'Your version of windows is not genuine') so it's worth a shot!

go to add/remove programs and look the for the program, then delete it. or find it in your processes and kill it.

Just DL'd it, going to give it a shot now. :) I'm just worried about something happening and then I lose microsoft office. Paid 88 dollars for it and I NEED it for school. :/

Honestly, I've asked my self the same question multiple times…I have no idea why I didn't just do that :duh:

Honestly though if the problem persists save yourself the stress and trouble and just torrent it, no need to stress yourself before school!

Thats not possible(atleast in my experience), are you sure you tried to find the right process/program?Check this:
