So a few people have told me that MSI is too big and intimidating for people to actually contribute. That's understandable, as it is huge and potentially intimidating; however, we should be able to reduce this by making some things simpler. The current forum structure is a little disorganized in some areas, so I'm hoping to simplify it to make it easier for users to know where everything is. Here's the new structure I have in mind.
E: I'm probably also going to organize the forums so that threads with prefixes "Bug", "Suggestion", and "Feedback" always appear above threads with prefixes like "Committed", "Denied", and "Resolved." Assuming that's possible of course.
Current structure
-- MSI Phoenix
---- Phoenix - SL & PM Board
------ General
------ Planning
------ Git Commits
------ Commits to Core
---- Supported Scripts
---- Updates and Announcements
---- General Discussion
---- Public Feedback
------ Bugs
------ Suggestions
---- MSI Tutorials
---- Phoenix Git
------ Help
------ Script Development
------ Core Development
------ MSI Extras
------ Somthing Else
---- Archives
------ MSI Announcements
------ MSI Current Projects
------ MSI Competition
------ MSI Scripts / Functions
------ MSI Suggestions
New structure
-- MSI Phoenix
---- MSI Developer's Panel
------ General
---- MSI Help
------- (Redirect) Everything MSI
---- MSI Updates & Announcements
---- MSI Supported Scripts
---- MSI Bugs
---- MSI Suggestions
---- MSI Tutorials
---- MSI Archives
------ MSI Announcements
------ MSI Current Projects
------ MSI Competition
------ MSI Scripts / Functions
------ MSI Suggestions
Pros:- Development threads will all be in one place, not spread over core/script/etc.
- Less places to get lost I guess?
- None?
