I'm not a pk pro, but isn't one of the problems that the max hits keep rising by items as korasi sword etc, but the max health not? (torva is for bill gates)

Man I enjoy playing/botting Runescape because of the fact I don't pk. I do alot of Castle Wars and on occasion, Clan Wars. This is plenty for me, I don't have to get a thrill from risking my items on groups of try-harders, why should I even give them a chance to kill me? Nope, I spend my time on the other side of the Wilderness ditch.

Yeah I lost a valuable item because I didn't turn on protect item. That doesn't mean I'm a victim of 2k11 prodding lol.

Only reason I was raging yesterday was because I cant continue a single fight without getting rushed or pj'd. And what doesn't make sense is that the rushers or the pjer wont get my drop since the dude im fighting did more damage on me. SO WHY THE FUCK PJ?!

A lot of people do it in teams, they split loot (person you're fighting and the rusher).

Tbh, I'm 99% F2P pker because I can't stand being rushed by some nerd with D claws, surviving, then him running away. Nothing aggravates me more then someone who is just trying to get lucky and not considerate to others.

I haven't pked in such a long time… But, I think p2p will get better in terms of pking. See, the reason why p2p got REALLY bad was because of the fact that Rsbuddy, Powerbot. and iBot (seriously iBot had a pking bot) gave little kiddies access to soul wars bots and money making bots. So putting all that together you get: An immature little kid with complete disregard for honor, and a maxed account with over powered items. That fucked up pking reaal bad.

But now, since all those reflection bots are now gone, these little kids no longer can pk like they could before. They have no bots to make them money, thus forcing them to sell their overpowered expensive items.
My theory.

There's always been PJers. IMO after you kill someone in the wilderness it should give you 10 seconds of immunity to attacks.

Yes, I agree. And also the person making the kill should get exclusive rights to the loot.

Currently you have too many 'looters' wandering around. If u make the spoils only available to the combatants - and grant immunity for 30 secs (no u cannot attack someone else during this time) you can take your time sorting through the goodies.

That would be whack for multicombat pvp. So make it that in multi you don't get the protection but elsewhere you do.

What I do is Torva (only 1500k risk), it makes it pretty hard to one spec me…

But I understand not everyone can afford it, ugh what I used to do when I had less money was (I still do this) Saradomin brew + Rocktail + Melee protect prayer

Or! When I am one vs one in a high GP battle (both risk about 50m) I bring one inventory spot with bolas. If I get attacked I use bolas and then run back. (Its like ice barrage but you don't need a positive range bonus (it is a ranged weapon))

Or! if you like to hybrid like me (at mage bank) and don't want to risk 1b+ (torva + Virtus + Divine = massive risk) Buy full statius + Full zuriels + Divine or Ely (Depending on your Prayer level) Basically you have about a 35% chance of death unless they outgear you.. (rare) or they get really lucky

Then wreck stuff up and if you die only 20m.

I think the main problem is that Jagex keeps making more powerful, easy to use weapons. Rather than making decent lower level weapons and armour, they make something better than what was previously in the game. Like this new polypore staff, it hits 500's and doesn't even use any runes, or the new armour that is comparable to nex armour.

Also, just pointing out, dds is only 30k and it's max hit is higher than d claws, korasi, and ags. ;)

I'm so glad I joined in Jan '07 and played RS at its golden age before the wildy was removed. I remember the riots :( RIP Rs. Can't wait for RS2006 though. :) For those who don't know, a team of 5+ are developing a runescape 2006 remake. They have near identical forums so far and a quite a few skills near completed.

I also remember the good old days, back in 06 everything was legit till botting started showing up(which is when I stopped playing RS), and legit players strarted leaving, and eventually the game has slowly declined(Since my return to RS, this game is bullshit compared to 06). So botting has never been a good thing it has led to the ruin of Runescape and its decline, but I cant say it hasnt been helpfull. Just expect RS to die soon.

Then why are you here? And botting was a part of the game prior to 06, I can assure you.
