I'm curious as to what all of you guy's opinions on hosts. Like what is the cheapest, that is actually worth it. Also, I want to buy a domain but am not sure where…in general I just want to know what you guys use.

Use godaddy for domains every so often they have 1.95$ .com offers or namecheap if you don't want to wait as they give a free 1 year who.is privacy for around the same price of godaddy.

Godaddy aka get-your-domain-stolen. There was a good site that showed a ton of reasons why you should never use godaddy at nodaddy.com, but godaddy managed to harass ICANN and another registrar to get that domain stolen away from them. They are a terrible company and you should never sign up with them for anything serious.
I personally use gandi.net for my domain. Their prices are fair, their support is good (I have only had to use it once for an advanced technical question and they replied to me the next day), and it's for the most part easy to understand and use. They are French-based, and thus you also have to pay no VAT (taxes) if you live in America. You can also get hosting there but I have not tried it before.

Definitely not. Use something else, I personally use finnish providers.

I can offer a web host for you, but I can't guarantee it will be for 1 year, 2 years or anything, if I can't pay the bills for the server, I can't provide anymore. You can have a domain like: mormonman.frement.net or simply your own domain.

$10 lifetime (meaning as long as I can provide)? You have to get the domain yourself thought.
EDIT: I can also install additional modules if you need, like Imagick or stuff like that. The server has MySQL, PHP5, basically everything you need to run a website.
