SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

I only use simba for my main but I like to try out different bots for my other throw-awayish accounts. I've mostly been using Rsbuddy for those but some of my friends have been telling me about epic bot and I was wondering if anyone else has used it and if their experience was good or bad?

I used it.. it was the first java bot I ever used.. I went Scar/Simba -> Epic bot -> RSBot -> RSBuddy ->iNexus.. it has some good scripts like the monk fisher n woodcutters n stuff. Some scripts have a couple bugs but overall I thought it was a great bot.. Ppl say that they hack u but I haven't been hacked and I used it a lot during the winter last year.

I first heard about it just a few days ago, and from what I heard it's nothing special. They probably have a website you can check out, but chances are it's not much worth looking in to.

I would not trust it. There is a ton of shady stuff they do, main glaring issue is they host their exe on iq4download dot com which is a huge malware distributor and other shit-ware (owned by freeze.com - which is such a wonderful and clean site :rolleyes: ).

Nothing specific right now, I just like to have options. Rsbuddy has fulfilled most of my needs when srl doesn't have something I need. Are you asking because you want to make a script for simba?

Kinda, yes. I have many script ideas in mind, but I'd like to know what that mass majority wants in a script. Apparently combat is still the highest demanded, so I'm learning how to do combat at this moment in time.

That's strange, I feel that SRL has quite a few good free combat scripts. What I use RSbuddy for mainly is Agility, Thieving, Herblore and Hunter. There seems to be a lacking of reliable free scripts for those skills.

Emaziz has a herblore one. Agility is by enoys and marpis but I haven't seen any advanced barbs for guys like me.. Thieving :c srl has no sorceror's garden because everyone says the ban rate is high (I got 99 there), Hunting.. yeah we don't have any that I know of.. Salamanders or butterfly catcher would be nice.

If I could just throw another idea in for you while your at it, If you made a grenwall hunter script I can garrentee many people would use it. Its crazy money and very good xp. Oh ya its also a very very difficuly script to make it would definantly challenge you to the best of your ability. If your up for something easyier then even a red chin hunter would be great.

I have used Epic Bot for a long time now, no problems. Accounts have been safe, and no bans yet. Its pretty decent actually.

Emaziz herblore is hit or miss for me(sometimes it runs well sometimes it doesn't) The Barb village agility course is the best I can use atm and marpis's only works for about 20 min for me(already posted my problems in the thread, I'm pretty sure marpis quit scripting) and yea like you said not too many thieving and no hunter scripts anymore.

The base I made previously deposited the crafted runes after every trip. So, I think all you'd risk losing is a glory, pouches, and hatchet/pickaxe. I also think I would make a world switcher upon being killed.

I like bots with those kind of features. It's one of the main things I'm missing with simba. Maybe we can implement it later?

I dont really like using anything other then simba there are too many stories going round to know good from bad

It's not awesome.

My friend used it for about a week, he said the mouse movement wasn't human-like so he stopped using it.

This was a while ago though, they may have improved their bot by now.

You got any proof of that? Many of my friends use it, they have like 200M on each account, no problems, ever.

I'd love that! I was using Rune Crafter ReBorn untill a a month or two ago. Pkers shouldn't be that much of a problem, just have it teleport out of the wildernes if attacked and eat, switch world, continue rcing. If you do end up dying you can have your respawn set up in edgeville so you can just take out the glory/pickaxe and make some more runes..

I try to use as little bots as possible to minimize the risk of getting hacked.

In my base I made every precaution already, yet I still have more ideas in mind. Already, it deposits our crafted runes after every run, so the max you would lose it pouches/glory/tool. Also if you're below a certain health, while in the bank, you'll eat food that you define within the script. In the future, I plan on making a detection that if we get attacked by a player, we'll finish that run, teleport to the bank, and switch worlds. Had the player killed us, I'll whip up some kind of death walk/teleport and also switch worlds.

Also, I'm using it right now, forgot to mention.

I can't believe I got derepped for saying that. It is the truth, use their bot and they will steal your username and password and go on your account and steal your items. You don't believe me? Then go ahead and do it, and don't come crying over here when your items are gone.

If you read the thread then you'll see there's been people who are using it frequently and who hasn't had their accounts wiped.

I see no proof that they're wiping accounts there

The only thing I find strange is that you have to install it via executable, which is usually a red flag when downloading a java based application.

Ontopic: I haven't heard a single use of epic bot complaining about lost of virtual goods or accounts. Could anyone post some facts?

Maybe the fact that my cousin used epic bot on two of her three accounts and when she next logged into those two accounts,they were wiped while the third account that she uses the normal runescape client wasn't. It is that reason why I say that it will steal your username and password

I've personally never tried the bot so I can't speak much from experience.
