So last night when i went to go to bed i set up 3 simbas with MSI-EV yews,

im seeing this failed to use script alot more often, not sure whats going on. I cant tell you exactly what it was doing as i wasn't there but if i get the chance today ill try to watch it and see what exactly it was doing.

Here are the progress reports of simba1, 2, and 3. i attached the debug as a notepad as they were too big for pastebin.

Edit: had to attach it as a zipped file. :)
edit2: paste.villavu allows me to paste the debugs :) (debugs are at the end of the post)

Look at the debug, the only thing I can think of is MSI_AutoObjects is timing out or the player isn't logged in. Right now the timer is at 45 minutes, which is already pretty long. If you open Skills.simba and go to line 366, you can change the 45 to a higher number. If increasing it solves the problem, I'll probably add a field to TScript to make the timer specific to each script, because 45 minutes is still really high for most scripts.

Odd. I have an account on a constant rotation with this and have never had that happen

I thought so, that's why I'm thinking it's timing out. Your woodcutting level may be higher than the characters carlito is using.

Could also be his hatchet type but it's basically the same thing :)

@Carlito use better hatchets :p

sorry i left this unattended, yes my wcers are between 70-80 beside two that are are 87ish?

they all use rune hatchets :)

possibly timeing out because of so many other bots! its hard for me to get yews?

Maybe. My Char is 90 wc right now, but he gets an alright amount compared to other locations. Rune pic btw.

Carlito, did you have the chance to test this with a lower time?

Carlito

2011-08-08 00:03:58

i did get a chance to test it with the lower time. i still get timeout but i notice its because there way to many bots and the slow reaction time to click the tree or to be at the tree thats gonna spawn next is why i timeout and get that unable to use script

Sorry, I meant to say a higher time. Lower time would just make it worse. >.<

Okay, well is the reaction really that much slower? I could try to make some adjustments to the chopping animations to hopefully speed it up. Could also reintroduce object tracking for MSI_WaitWhileChopping.

i find myself sitting around while others are cutting the trees. Check out BH crazy ev yews cutter by boohoboo (something like that) i wanted to see to compare to msi; and yes msi is slow.

you should run it and see how its always ready for the next tree and always clicks before any other bot as of now. there is flaws with the switch chars and report being buggy but the speed is nice.

MSI used to be like that. When I switched to 100% animations for Woodcutting, it sacrificed a little speed, but using a combination of animations and object tracking, I think it'll be much faster. Not sure when I'll have time for it though. Hopefully soon.

E: Carlito, this should be fixed. I completely removed the timer (there's still other failsafes, don't worry), but you shouldn't have this issue anymore.
