So, not sure if you guys know much about this or not, but in Australia the cost of buying technology is ridiculously high, even now, when the AUD is higher than USD. So I was wondering if you guys knew any online sites that are similar to newegg that are in australia, or an overseas company that ships to aus without ripping off too much.

P.S. If possible I don't want to go through MM sites such as priceusa or other ones.

Holy crap, I didn't even know

Does Newegg.com ship internationally?

Newegg.com does not currently ship internationally; we only deliver to locations within the United States and to Puerto Rico.

Hmm someone should set up a service or somethin…. Newegg is pretty cheap =)

It's all fun and games till you get with levies and duties and other import fees.

Newegg only ships to China, USA, Puerto Rico and Canada. AFAIK they have each location separated into different websites.

I know the same bro, US pricese are super cheap even though canada (like aud) is much more valuable, and it would cost us $100 extra (look at G27 steering wheel).

[politics]With the way republican is going, soon the game table will be turned towards us!!! Its a shame to see a great country ruined by stupid and selfish politicians.[/politics]

Perhaps we can ship it to some srl members in us and send it back to us?:P

Mono price is pretty good for canada, but I don't know about aussies. Sorry mate:(

A lot of that has to do with the companies that own the products.

I think it was Canon cameras, but someone asked on the newegg forums "Why is it $300 more on the Canadian Newegg?" (not verbatim) and Newegg basically said it was because Canon told them they had to sell at higher prices otherwise they would revoke their reseller status.

Another big problem are shipping regulations. Sometimes products will be completely banned from Canada/Canadian provinces. I went to go order the Nook to get some ebook reading going on, and when I got to check out it said due to shipping regulations it was impossible.

So don't always jump to the conclusion that it's the resellers fault, these companies simply know that the market in the other countries will buy it. I mean Canon wouldn't artificially inflate the price if they couldn't get away with it.
