So simba closes when I log in. I usually log in my user then lock it with simba/smart still running. I log in and the last thing i see is simba in my taskbar
I don't know if its a user error or whatever but i usually/always hide my simba so it only shows in the taskbar.
Also, even though it automatically closed i still see a simba process running using no cpu and 1.1k memory…
My cpu usage tells me that smart is not running… so they didnt hide but they closed themsleves.
Bump… Anyone alive… Btw im using vista.
Anyone wanna confirm this or test this.
It may be a smart problem or a simba problem…
Hopefully get this fixed before then last rc

I don't think its clear what "User" u mean.. u log in your rs account? Or are u talking about a user account on vista? And by taskbar u mean system tray?

Uhhh As far as I know, When you lock the computer, the internet/wifi card goes to sleep.. and it cuts off whatever is running.
There is a difference between Locking it and Between Switching User. I know when U press switch user, the user stays logged in and whatever is running, stays running until u log back in and stop them then log out.
Locking it will definitely stop everything from running.. well at least for me it does. Instead I usually just go to battery options, change the settings to what I need and then lock it. Or when I wanna bot overnight, I go battery options and just turn the screen off after 1 minute that way the light don't harass me but the comp stays on.. Then turn the volume down :D
Why do u want to lock it btw? Just curious.
My sister sometimes uses the computer and junk…

Try this:

That should definitely keep you logged in while she's using the computer on another account.. U have to switch user and she can log in..
when she's done, she logs off, u just click ur username, type ur password if any and whala smart still running ur script..
Should work as I just tested it..
Ill try to switch user… I never knew it turned off your programs.
And she usually just shuts it down :(
Unfortunately stand by has failed me…
Edit: I use a program call TrayIt. This only happens to me when I hide simba and tray smart… i guess it isn't a simba error.
You can close this :)

You shouldn't need any 3rd party software. I used to do this all the time before I bought my own computer. Set a password to your user, and just "Switch User", like ggzz said. Then just tell your sister to not shut down the computer. :p
I like to he organized though. My computer can do 10 smarts so thats 20 windows open… Im using the smart organizer thing though
