There are two ways of fetching animation (that I know of):
Hooks #659:
character.getAnimation = 'uaa.zb';
character.getAnimationQueue = 'uaa.eb';
animation.getDef = 'qu.P';
animationdef.getID = 'vg.e';
The Animation hook now represents the Animation class (instead of int), which can be used to get the class.
I haven't looked that deeply into AnimationQueue yet, but it contains an array of animations.
Both methods return the same information. Currently, Ref2 uses character.getAnimation method but may switch in the near future. As I have exams this week, I won't be doing much with it, but if someone else would like to further analyze these hooks, it would be appreciated.
