Daemonheim Resource Maples

Most of you may be aware that there are now maples in F2P. The only catch is to reach these maples you need level 30 dungeoneering. Once past this point you can reach the resource island that has willows and maple trees.

This script could have a banking function with a fairly easy walk back procedure. After chopping a full load use the ring of kinship to teleport to Daemonheim and very close to the bank. Then its a longish run back to the resource gate.

I know the hardest parts would be the walking and finding location after teleport.

Let me know if you decide to take up the idea, because I would be more than happy to help.

Is it crowded?
How many trees are there?
How many people are there on average?

True, unless you drop the maples?

powerchopping willows is better exp/hr all the way to 99.
The only possible reason i can imagine chopping maples if for cash. But they're WORTHLESS. so i'm pretty lost as to why anyone would chop them.

there are willows there as well guys, you can powerchop them there where its probably less crowded

Meh, maples are less cash than yews with bots(talking about 0-3 logs per yew vs 5-28 logs per maple here) so it is a pretty useless script.

With a little math, I calculated that if you cut maples from lvl 60 to 80(assumin maples are fast anough at 60) you make about 870k. That will take about 50+ hours (maybe even 100) so it is barely any cash.

I'm well aware. :duh:

There are 8 Maples and 6 Willows. Right now I'm the only one but the max I have seen is 4.

I would argue the exp/hr, maples give 100 exp and willows give 67 exp.

This script would be for the person that likes to avoid all bots. They are all over the yews and willows.

Thanks for the responses,

Edit: I chop a full load of maples in about 5 mins at level 70. I dont know if that is faster than willows or not. Time to test.

I won't argue the exp/hr. I'll just tell you willows give significantly faster exp/hr.
I have multiple accounts with 99 wc'ing. I've powerchopped willows and mapples for days on end. Willows are WAY faster below 90 wc. and at 99 wc they're still a good 5-6k/hr better exp.

Willows take <3 minutes at lvl 60 wc. They are the fastest in f2p, even at lvl 99.

Okay, just did a time test and Maples take around 3.5 mins and Willows take 2.5 mins all at level 70.

Maple: (60/3.5)*100 = 1714 exp/hr

Willow: (60/2.5)*67 = 1608 exp/hr

These are one run tests and hold no water. This just shows that either can be used to power level from level 70 wc.

From this discussion it looks like this script would be worthless. However, if anyone is still interested in taking up a challenge to see if you can do it, I'd be more than happy to help.

it cant be done by a script, have to do it manually, if thats what you're asking.

Too much of a hassle, I would rather use my clicker program to drop everything in 3 seconds. Nice to know though.

It can't be yet. Id like to see it added to smart somehow as i'm fully sure JAVA can do it.

Mouse keys are used by rsbuddy scripts.

This, along with the other resource dungeon locations are on the MSI to-do list, so they will get added eventually. It's just a matter of when.
