[BETA] SRL Mail

Hey all, I need some beta testers for a e-mail server I'm trying out. Can be used to sign up for e-mails on Rs accounts or other places, only issue right now is that it can't send mail…(From what I've read it's something about dynamic IPs getting auto-blacklisted) working on that one.

Anyway, for anyone who wants to test it out I'll PM you a link… You can sign up for as many accounts as you like, as there is a signup script. That's why I have to PM link.

Usual promise that I won't read your mail, or do anything else with the information. Oh, and if you do get an account, and you know someone else who has one, you can send e-mail back and forth, kind of like an advanced pm system with less restrictions. Uses Roundcube for webmail…

Anyone interested?

UPDATES:
Added the After Logic web client.
Fixed signup script - thanks to Main Ftw for pointing out the error.
Shortened URL.

I should also mention, when you are signing up, in the name field, please use your SRL name in the full name field. DON'T use your srl password. I don't want to be accused of trying to hack accounts.

I was going to suggest this, but luckily you did it yourself.
Also, roundcube wins.

E: Eh, Microsoft Windows Server? :/

Not using Microsoft Windows Server lol. It's running on windows 7 though, I don't have dedicated linux box and I need win 7 for some dev stuff I do. (Haven't had the time to get it all working under Ubuntu yet.) So for now the web server runs under WAMP.

Why is it SRL mail? Is the domain related or somthing?

Sort of. I have a no-ip domain setup. It's more srl mail because it's exclusive to this community and the signup process takes about 10 seconds to make it easy to make lots of accounts for your RS players. :o

EDIT: @ Dgby, sent PM

Your server auto disconnects me now =(

Guess it didn't like all the invalid passwords figuring out what auth to use.

Didn't get to add the check in after password.

anyways

//User as in User@srl.sytes.net
//If you don't know what should go in
//Subject or Message, you should go die....
end.

Only sends to srl.sytes.net addresses!
It will be from "simba-noreply@srl.sytes.net" basically anyone can get into this account, DO NOT send anything private!!!

Lol, sorry about that. It probably thinks your trying to hack it :p. Also, nice script, but just remember it can't send outbound mail to other servers yet.

Your ISP probably blocks port 25 inbound…try to use a different port like 587 :p.

Updated Script.

Now does the from and to correctly and adds a subject.

Port check says open :( So it's something with the ISP and my dynamic IP.

EDIT: This made me lol.

Can I sigify that?

lol, yeah if you want too

Also is there anyway you can restrict access to simba-noreply on the pop server? I don't want people connecting to it or using your webmail on it.

I think I'm a bit confused as to what you mean here. Do you want it to only be able to send mail through Simba?

I don't think you can restrict it to Simba, but if you can restrict the account to only be able to send mail. (smtp) no pop access or web access.

Well it can't receive e-mail anymore.. So using it for anything except your script is pretty much pointless.
