I'd consider this the equivalent of winning some RS lottery. I was in the unofficial lending area north of the GE, world 2, when I saw a stack of items popping up. Without thinking about it, I ran over and grabbed them before anyone else could. Here's what I found:


The 16m cash stack is what I had on me, the items are what I picked up. To recount what I found:
-Zamorak Platebody
-Zamorak Platelegs
-Bandos Tassets
-Third-Age Full Helm
-Third-Age Platebody
-Third-Age Platelegs
-948 Ground Fishing Bait (lol?)

All totaled, that's about a 315m find. I'd guess there was more dropping, but other people started swarming. I sold the Zammy stuff already and plan to keep the tassets. Should I sell the Third-age stuff as well, or is there any reason to hang on to it?

Nice find. Third age gear is ultra Rare besides that I don't think it's any better then some of the other gear available.

Sadly, I have a feeling this will have used up like 5 years worth of my luck :D

I was thinking about selling the 3rd age armor and buying a mask or something, then putting the remainder of the cash towards 99 prayer. Would that be a good idea, or is the armor really worth keeping?

Check for the street price of 3a before you sell it! Be sure to do this as odds are it is much higher than the price of the GE.

Yeah def. check street prices first. Don't get greedy and get a minimal price for it!

My thought was to spend some on a rare, and do short-term merching with the rest. I was thinking I'd buy a santa now, sell it in october when the price goes up, then buy it back after the xmas drop; good plan or bad one? I've never been great with money management and I don't want this to go to waste.

I also can finally go for 99 prayer, but I'm gonna hold off on that until I can make a little more from merching/investing.

There is no guarantee that the prices will increase during xmas and then fall, so beware. You might also be unable to buy it again once you sell it, there are lots of hoarders.

Wow nice! From what I've seen 3a doesn't go up much, just goes down. It can be good for merching though. I'd just sell it if I was you.

also, don't bot on that account, if you are botting it. Make a little pure, add it to each others friend list and keep all your valuable on that one.

Absolutely do not sell the 3a for atleast a week, check the street price every day and see what the price is doing if its going up obviously just sit with the 3a for a bit if its going down who cares give it a week anyway. Oh well if you loose a couple mill from trying to get a good deal on it, your still up 300.

Btw since you seem to being doing well on cash, id take that tassy off you no problem :)

Nice find. I remember when I quit, I gave all my stuff away to people at the ge. 3 months later I started playing again.
