how much is it? I just replaced my old imacs graphics card.. 4gb memory, duo core it has snow leopard on it now (bought with leopard upgraded with snow leopard about a year later) so you can get an idea of how old it is lol

is the lion still a cheap $30 upgrade like snow leopard was?

also how much memory does just the OS take to run itself?

It is $25. I don't have it because I don't have a good Mac.

it's available on the app store, really easy to install, the performance is lightning. worth the upgrade 100%.

excellent sounds good.

I got full adobe suite cs3 and full final cut studio (final cut pro + sound track pro + compression + all the other crap)

so I'll have to make sure none of them will get messed up.. but the leopard -> snow leopard was a huge performance upgrade so I expect lion will be great too, I love their cheap upgrades unlike $150 windows ones
