Hello. I would like to share an Idea - since I dont know scripting, Id appreciate if the person who makes one shares it with me - or better yet teaches shows me how he made it.

Idea as follows:

Air Staff Equip
1k Laws Inventory
Edge Bank
Target: West of bank: chaos temple.

Telegrab Wine Of Zammorak
Bank Load
Return
Ad Infinitum

Precautions: lvl 1 wilderness crossing - not a problem on lvl20 mage pure with 33 mage.

Sell wine zammy @ market 0.9k-1.3k each ~750k profit (price of laws included).

Capacity: BUSY WORLD ~1.9k players: 1k Zammy WInes in 1.2 hours.

Mage exp gained in process.

Zammy wine respawn approx 15~20 seconds. (depending no ppl in world)
good - luck :stirthepot:

umm.. the walking would be.. almost impossible i guess.. but someone very skilled with radialwalk could probably make it ..

I am pretty skilled with radial if i do say so considering my walk to lumbridge, varrok, draynor, al kahrid, and falador procedures using all colors/ road. This would still almost be impossible because the colors of the minimap are always canging. Basically you would have to make a procedure/function that would update every single color of every tree and program it to walk exactly right. Also, it would take a butload of work if it gets lost to get it back on track. I may ,but prolly not , do this.

Why not make it go to fally bank? takes a lot less work cause there's road and the goblin cliff on the minipap that can be used as col. pickers.

pwnaz0r

2007-03-02 14:47:31

It would still be a butload of work..

JuKKa

2007-03-02 15:08:29

heres how it could get a LITTLE easier.. make it TELE to falador and there to bank and back to the zammy area..

That would require nearly twice the runes though, which would probably reduce you're profit. You'd have to calculate whether buying the extra laws is outweighed by how much more wine you get.

Trade the wines for 3 laws + 100 gp or so

I used to do this while I still played legit

tarajunky

Shouldn't be too hard. It's pretty much just a roadwalk, then following the wall up and back. I may try this out if I get some free time…

Remember that the FallyRoadColor is different from the normal RoadColor, and that there will be a spot where it changes. In this case, that is a bonus, since you can use that color switch to help locate yourself.

There is also the Quest icon up near Doric, and a shrine icon when you get to your destination. It's like they made that route as easy as possible to auto walk, lol.

so ur saying that u could make it ? :O

pwnaz0r

2007-03-02 17:51:03

Yea i know that tarun but still folowing wall? unless you (And I mean You specifically) make a auto wall color, it will be hard. And earlier i was at skewl so i didnt have much time to think

tarajunky

2007-03-02 18:06:17

AutoWallColor should be very easy. To write it script specific would be very easy too.

Do this. Walk up to Dorics, then scan lines of the minimap from the center to the left. The first white color you run into is the wall color. Test 3 different lines to make sure they match. Boom, auto wall color.

pwnaz0r

2007-03-02 18:08:19

I want you to teach me how you made your autocolors. Like the only thing i dnt get is the red, blue, and green or watever the 3 primary colors r wat you did with them

tarajunky

2007-03-05 13:07:49

The Autocolors are based on RGB. Every color you pick can be reduced to its respective Red, Green, and Blue components. When I started looking at colors on the minimap I realized that the relationship between R, G, and B for any given color remained within a defined range. Color tolerance is also based on RGB, but it does not take the relationship between the components into account.

So, my autocolor functions are designed to scan the minimap for anything that remotely looks like the color you're looking for (blue-ish for water, gray-ish for road, etc), then sample those pixels and break them down into their color components so you can check to see if the relationship between the components matches the expected relationship for the object you're looking for.

Now that I've read more about canvases, it is clear to me that the functions could all be sped up significantly by grabbing a bitmap and sampling the minimap by using FastGetPixel instead of scanning using FindColor as it does now. They are already pretty fast, but can lag a lot for slower computers.

pwnaz0r

2007-03-05 14:16:20

Well so If i wanted to make my own, I should read Yakman's everything about canvas's?

tarajunky

The first thing you need to do is collect data. You will need to pick the color you want to autodetect across many different worlds to get an accurate range for the colors. You may want to only pick colors after the screen has refreshed once so they are more stable. For FindRoadColor it can actually detect the road color accurately even before the screen refreshes because the relationships are the same, even though the colors are darker. Once you have 20-30 data points from different servers you can use an RGB converter to get the component values. Then look at them and see if there is a relationship between the components, like green is always 10 units higher than red (+ or - 5 units). Sometimes the ranges can be quite large.

Once you understand the relationship, then you should look for other characteristics of the colors. Like for all the autocolor ones I did the colors show up in big blocks, so I made sure that there was a block of uniform color. If there is any other positional relationship that is stable, you may want to include that in your search criteria.

Implementing a canvas based search function is the last step you will need to do.

hehe. Now wine prices are going to DROPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP :p

that is….if anyone was to make it

Boreas

2007-03-05 15:25:50

Not necessarily. If users of this script sell for close or equal to the standard price, and in not crazy amounts, and not many people use it, prices should stay the same enough for jagex not to care.

i thought about this, and about making it but then i decided not to….remembering those 3 long days of making a right click sell ten script.

Hey! Thats a very nice idea.

Thanks. ;)

Or just a small bitmap of the wall.. works everytime for me. Yes also when the map is rotated.

I'm working on this now as I have time. So far I've roughed in the walking, banking, Location finding, and wrote up a few slick functions to autocolor the walls and find the actual minimap angle (not the compass angle). It should also be VERY easy to autocolor the Zammy shrine floor color. The door on the shrine is non-functional, so you don't have to worry about opening it.

So far so good…

should be good. :P

make it withraw laws from bank just incase :)

I was reading what you said, Tara, and something confused me. Is "scanning lines" the same as FindColor?

tarajunky

2007-04-30 11:17:18

If you're search left to right, then a simple FindColor(x,y,Color,MMX1,50,MMX2,50); would work (if you want to scan along a horizontal line of height 50).

If you want to search top to bottom, then you can do that with FindColor too.

FindColor(x,y,Color,650,MMY1,650,MMY2);

If you want to scan right to left, or bottom to top, then you need to do something more complex.

for dx:=MMX2 downto MMX1 do
begin
if FindColor(x,y,Color,dx,50,dx,50) then blah blah blah
end;

or

for dy:= MMY2 downto MMY1 do
begin
if FindColor(x,y,Color,650,dy,650,dy) then blah blah blah;
end;

At least, that's how I do it.

but ull be training magic and get to level 30 in no time and plenty of rune scim pkers in non-members on any world

you say it will have to go across lvl 1 wildy eh? I guess I'll just go setup my pker there :D

Dunceiam

2007-05-01 16:58:25

You don't need to go across, but the line between wild and normal (?) is quite close to the shack. Also, Tarajunky, just be sure that it doesn't miss clicking on tele-grab and then click the wine. When doing this legitely I've had quite a lot of problems with the wizards going crazy :).

But still, great script idea :p.

awesome, it wouldnt be as bad if like 3 people worked on at the same time, one makes the tele grab procedure, one makes the banking, and one makes the walking. and there is an easy way to make walking, with the quest symbol, and shrine symbol, and then just follow the wall and use shops, haircuts symbol as a guide line to find the bank symbol and ur there,

Nobody never do something like that or make it private, every noob would auto this…

EDIT: Ok 1.2hour= 80minutes

Spawn each 15~20sec= 3 or 4 zammy wines

Let's say 4 to be generous.

4x80x1200=384000gp

Total cash in 1 hour and 20 minutes = 384k not 750k!

I like this idea alot. And i dont think it would effect the prices because I doubt it would be released in free scripts and anything related to herblore is expensive due to its never ending demand. Its like ores and bars. Coal has been 180 to 200 gp thourgh years of macroing. Not changed 1 gp. The only item price I have seen truly effected by macros is feathers.

I really would like to see it get made. Be something new jagex isnt looking for.

But I do think pkers would be a problem. When Im pking im ruthless and will kill anything I can regardless just for the entertainment value. So ya if a pure mele sees a guy doing tele grab hes gonna know hes got laws and if you got around 500 laws thats gonna be a nasty loss.
