Sold him a PIN 2 weeks ago, never paid me.
Yeah hurr durr we know he's a scammer and banned from BM. I don't care about the money I lost from the transaction it's nickles and dimes. He just doesn't belong here is all we don't need him around.

He changed. He was kind of emotionally odd at times, but never like this towards the community.

Sad. He's actually worse than countless other scammers we've seen that rehabilitated themselves. I feel sorry for him, but he's shown his lack of character and contempt for everyone here.

I think there's no question that he should be banned, the sooner the better.

He earned a ban (multiple times over now), so we ban him. It's not that hard. Threats about coming back under a proxy shouldn't tie our hands. It's a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

He probably is around here on a new account already preparing it for when he gets banned. I think he still has mod rights on a few sections like the Reflection area. Getting rid of the Naike account might be for the best. :/

Also, can we get a purge of former inactive staff and developers? It is much needed as those old accounts can pose a vulnerability also. Handle it like Mopar does on his forums; give them an award/cup designating that they previously held said position within the community and keep the door open for reinstatement if the case they become active again.

Sad he went that route. Used to respect the guy. Sigh. Ban him please, he really should have been banned a long time ago from what I've been reading. I know he can proxy his way in, but its just the concept of it.

No idea, I guess we kind of gave him the benefit of doubt/since he WAS such a good guy we let him off a bit lighter than we would other people/the scamming wasn't proven beyond a doubt back then.

I disagree Yohojo, we went as hard or harder on him than we would have other people because he was part of the staff. You're right that it wasn't proven beyond doubt, but we did have evidence strongly pointing to him. The complication was that he constantly denied it and offered to make amends.

But because he was in a position of trust, we felt that it was necessary to demote him despite his denials. We put the good of the community first, and figured that if he was truly innocent he would earn back trust with time. Instead he went off the deep end, now with at least 4 actions that would be individually ban-worthy that I am aware of. Any doubt about his previous guilt has been erased with these further actions, and it's clear that our instincts were correct at the time.

This is quite confusing, he seems to want to hurt SRL, but talks about creating a new account and coming back. He clearly wants to be here, but wants to scam? Surely he could make far greater profit elsewhere. And it's not as though he thinks revenge is justified, because he admitted to scamming (am I right?)

He wants to be here and post scripts and such iirc, but also wants his name cleared (yarite).
Other name is an option as has happened >9000 times before, but still.

@Coh3n you could have banned him for anything his infractions just needed to equal 10. :norris: Just putting it out there. I give so many warning for this reason… It's really easy to ban someone on accident :3 I almost did it to uncfan the junior once but decided to walk away from my computer to cool down. I think I gave him like 3 warnings that day before hitting him with a infraction for insulting other members….

A few years back SSRL just meant a 128*128 avatar and a private section, and you virtually weren't above SRL Member since you weren't allowed to talk about it. Keep dat in mind new ssrlz
