Has anyone tried google+ yet? what do you think about it if you have?

Eh it's ok.. doesn't seem as user friendly as facebook so I doubt it'll take over like facebook did to myspace

want an invite? I don't know how many people I can invite.. but if I invite people they can invite others etc, my gmail is legacy from back when gmail was in closed beta so I get all the invites

It's a lot more professional than Facebook.

Yeah I sent one to Ashur and requested Boreas' email. There aren't invite codes, you just invite people via email.

I hope it will take over facebook because I like the idea of circles, where only people in a circle can see specific things. Facebook is just too public in my opinion. Also, I think they have a shot at facebook, since most of the people use gmail (a google account) and are usually automatically logged in when they are browsing on the web. It's also more professional like Harry said and the video chat function will be awesome :)

facebook has video chat now too for some people in the beta

but yea I hope google takes over facebook, I never liked fb that much

Just click the link in the email and it should work. Might need to retry clicking it a few times.

there's a set amount of invites per lets say 15 minutes, it says they're at the maximum amount of people please try again later on the front page, only if you're not a plus member yet.. I am a member so I can't see it, others can

Lol, no. When you invite people via the G+ page they get a link you can click in the email and can instantly setup your profile.

Lol, no. I've invited almost 100 people, they're all getting invites every 15 minutes pretty randomized


just invited 3 of my friends, 1 of them got an invite instantly

the others are still waiting

I also have a few people I invited hours ago and they don't have an invite yet… it could take days… same as google wave.

Google+ is going to be VERY popular. It's going to be more Android friendly and its going to be a default Icon on most Google phones.

Just watch.

First one. Also better access to privacy controls, and your posts are limited per circle. i.e. you can send messages to everyone in your Family circle, Coworkers, etc, or Public. And of course not many dumb people considering it's still beta. Sent invite to you BTW.

yea those posts to only certain circles will break facebook.. I give it a month till facebook steals the idea or has a huge population crash, lots of kids (especially girls) never add their families because of the crap they do/post

Yeah, Kansas City, Kansas got the beta for that.

I'm liking Google+ so far from what I've used, just needs more people.

Haha, I've been working on my real life mostly, still lurking once in a while here.

Edit: on second thoughts, now not just does google own the monopoly on pretty much everything important, they have everybodys (or are going to have) sensitive info

Yeah, what Harry said. I however haven't gotten a chance to create an account on Google+ yet, but I will when registrations are open. Will definetly use G+ over Facebook. Any pictures you upload to facebook becomes their property so they can use it for whatever.

Not only your name, but also where you live, what computer you use, what internet browser, what OS, what mobile you have, what your email is, what your mobile number is, where you work, what kind of videos you watch, what kind of things you search for, what kind of music you like to listen to, and the list just goes on.
